Overview of the New LMS The new LMS, just like the previous system, allows you to: Find learning courses Access and complete courses Track courses you have completed You can even assign courses to yourself 3

Overview of the New LMS Once logged onto Health Net s LMS, your home page will display 5 sections or tiles: My Learning Assignments My Curricula* History Links Find Learning This course will discuss each section in more detail TIP: You can navigate the new LMS system by using the Previous and Next buttons or clicking on the tabs you intend to use. Using your browser s arrow to navigate the pages will log you out of the LMS system * Curricula is a series of related courses assigned to you 6
Launching Assigned Courses The My Learning Assignments home page displays all courses assigned to you and courses you selected to complete. The page contains important information such as: Course Title Course Number Course Description Course Type (Online or Instructor driven) Curriculum (if the course is part of a series) Course completion tracker Required or optional course All courses can be launched or continued on this page by clicking here 7
Launching Assigned Courses Click on this picture to see if this is an Online or Instructor Lead course Displays # of days left to complete course or overdue Required or Optional Course Click here to start or continue a course Click to see more or less details about the course, i.e. description More details about the course Online or Instructor Lead 8
Do not close this window! It is very important NOT TO close the LMS session, once the course is launched. If you do, then the completion will not be recorded in the LMS. 9

More About Assigned Courses Sorting You can sort your course assignments by date. Select Date on the top panel and your courses will be displayed in chronological order. Courses can have one of the following statuses: Overdue Due in 60 days Due Later No Due Date Note: You may not always find courses in each of the due date categories 11
More About Assigned Courses - Sorting You can also sort your assigned courses by Priority. This will list your most important assigned courses based on due dates on top of the list. All other courses will show in My Learning Assignments 12

More About Assigned Courses - Curricula You may be assigned a series of related courses in order to reach a learning objective. The My Curricula feature will provide you with the overview of the series of courses (aka curricula) that have been assigned to you 14
More About Assigned Courses - Curricula By clicking the My Curricula tile, a listing of all your assigned courses and their statuses will be displayed. For example, Health Net compliance training courses will be bundled up as a sub-curricula here List of courses assigned to you List of courses by priority The date to take action on this course The person who assigned the course to you Note: these courses will be visible in the My Learning Assignment home page as well 15
Searching the Course Catalog You can search for all available courses on LMS (whether assigned to you or not) through the Find Learning 16
Searching the Course Catalog There are various methods to search for courses: You can also do a search by clicking the Browse All Courses if you re not certain of the keyword Insert a keyword into the Search box and click Go Simple catalog search - where you can enter keywords in the search box Browse all courses and use filters to look for courses by category, subject area, source and delivery method 17
Searching the Course Catalog Once you have entered a keyword or simply chosen to browse all courses, you will see this new screen with a number of filters on the left side These filters will allow you to narrow your search results by: 1. Category 2. Subject Area 3. Delivery Method You can decide how many courses can be viewed per page You can also sort your search results based on relevance, title, or price (the price feature does not apply to Health Net) 18
Registering for a Course Once you have found the course you need, you can register for that course by clicking on Add to Learning Plan to take the course at a later time or Start Course to begin the training immediately You may also register for the course by clicking on the title to see more details about the course 19
Accessing Your Transcripts The History tile will provide a list of all the courses you have completed. The number in the middle is the number of recently completed courses Click View all to see course history list Note: The new LMS will only have records of Corporate Compliance and Government Services Compliance training history. Other training history will not be accessible. 20
More About Accessing Your Learning History The course history list provides you with the completion date, title of the course and the course status The Show Completions field provides you with drop down choices based on a completion date If you are looking for a specific course in your transcript, you may enter the title in the Search field You may also select the Status field to search for your transcripts by status To return to the previous page, click the back arrow Enter the course title to search here Select the status you want to search here 21
Other New Features The Links tile allows you to access commonly used processes such as FAQs, record learning, and access reports. Simply click on the desired link Approvals link applies only to those who have access to approve learning or have direct reports Frequently Asked Questions can be viewed by clicking on the FAQs You may record any of your completed courses by clicking on Record Learning Equivalent to Self-Reported Training 22
Other New Features - Reports Click on reports to see all available reports The most common report for Learners include Learning History. Once you click on the report choice, a new page will open and give you options to define your report parameters 23
