STYRKEPRØVEN INTRODUCTION Dear participant, Welcome to the 50th edition of Styrkeprøven, one of Norway s longest and most popular cyclosportive events, offering race routes from Trondheim, Kvam, Lillehammer, Gjøvik and Eidsvoll to Oslo. We are very proud to welcome more than 34 different nationalities welcome to our anniversary and event that takes place June 17.-19. Together with the four rides that participates for the 50th, 49th, 43rd and 31st time from Trondheim, more than 1.500 fellow riders will depart from Trondheim from Friday late evening and Saturday very early morning. The next start location is Kvam, a small town situated in Nord-Fron municipality surrounded by Gudbrandsdalen. We are halfway to Oslo already and around 100 riders are starting their journey here. Our hosts in Kvam offer great hospitality mobilizing the entire village to welcome you. Lillehammer-Oslo is our most famous race distance and with around 3000 participants and a dedicated female group start, our new partner, Swix will welcome everyone at their flaggship store just outside Lillehammer. The female group includes women in all ages, from 15 to 69 years of age.

Gjøvik has unfortunately less riders starting than previously (less than 200 participants), while Eidsvoll more than 700 riders starting. Eidsvoll offers a dedicated group to young riders between 12-16 years of age: Young at Styrkeprøven. We are looking forward to welcoming you at the finish line at Vallhall and Oslo! Best wishes and good luck! 2

STYRKEPRØVEN FINISHING & TIME FINISH LINE The time ends when you exit the tunnel. IMPORTANT! Remember to pass the checkpoint otherwise your time will NOT BE REGISTERED! 8

STYRKEPRØVEN THE TRACK IMPORTANT: ROAD CONDITIONS NORTH OF STØREN: With new tarmac from June 11th, the road is now in perfect condition. ALONG TOTENVIKA: Styrkeprøven has a particular service focus on this stretch, because of the challenging road conditions during the last two years. Some repairs have been made, and a long gravel stretch has been replaced with new tarmac. Hovewer, there is still some work remaining, and there will be short stretches with tarmac also this year. We ask you to be careful when riding through this area of roadworks. JESSHEIM & SKEDSMOKORSET: Through Jessheim, some roads are regulated with one way traffic. This should not cause any trouble, as we are riding with the direction of traffic.the tarmac is a bit rough here, with longitudinal curbs the riders should be aware of. 9

IMPORTANT: ROUTE CHANGE AT SKEDSMOKORSET The road from Jessheim to Kløfta and Frogner is laid with new tarmac, and the conditions are good. Between Skedsmokorset and Hvam, the route is changed from Skedsmokorset via RV 120 to Kjeller, and then back to Hvam/Olavsgård. When approaching Kjeller, be aware of a steep downhill ending in two roundabaouts. The rest of the road towards Oslo is in relatively good conditions. Østre Aker vei, from the town limit to the tunnel at Økern, will be divided using traffic cones. Here, the riders should only use the left lane! Riders using the right lane will risk being disqualified. 10

THE DETOUR WILL BE AS FOLLOWS: RV 383 to the roundabout at Skedsmokorset, then take the 3rd exit. Follow RV 120 for 5 km, through 3 roundabouts (straight forward in all of them) and down to RV 22. 11

In the roundabout on RV 22, take the 1st exit, and follow RV 22 for 2,5 km to where the road again meets RV 383. Be aware of a steep downhill towards RV 22. The downhill will be marked with yellow signs; Sakte Fart/Slow Down. 12
