1. Logging on Entering a username/password You can choose a language which is valid on this login page, in Register Organization, in Register User, logged on to the Online Store and when browsing as a guest. If you forget your password, click the Forgot your password? link and answer the challenge question you selected when you created your account. A new password will be emailed to you as long as you provided a valid e-mail address in your User Details. If you are unable to retrieve a new password this way, please contact your local Online Store administrator. Please note that if you already had an account in the old Online Store which did not utilize a challenge question - you cannot retrieve a password this way. Your new password must be assigned by your local Online Store administrator. For your convenience, the Online Store preserves your logged-on status for 2 h and 30 min or until you logout or close your web browser. It is recommended that you close your browser or log off after placing your order. You can also browse the Online Store without login or registration. Right above the Submit button on the login page you find the text To browse the Seco Online Store as a guest, click here. This option allows you to browse the store without price and stock information, nor is it possible to place orders. 3

2. Store overview General hierarchy of customers Organizations these are the companies who are our customers. They have a customer number with Seco, they have an invoice address etc. There can only be one registered organization per company/customer number in the Online Store. Users these are the employees of our customers. There can be as many users per organization as necessary. Each user has its own address book and its own pre-selected lists, which can be shared with other users within the same organization. 4

Function areas 4. 1. 5. 3. 2. The main screen has been divided into four areas: 1. Finding products. This is available in the leftmost part of the screen, where you can search for products via free-text search (Search), enter products into the shopping cart using direct product number (Quick Order), browse products via categories (Holemaking, Milling, Turning etc.), or utilize the requisition list (Pre-selected List). 2. The main area of the screen. Any Online Store-related information is displayed here. This is also where the product search results are displayed, as well as the Order Summary page. 3. Current order and Order history. Information regarding current and previous orders can be found here. 4. Top right menu. Information regarding your account, as well as other miscellaneous functionality can be found here. The HELP link and the LOGOFF link are also located in this area. 5. Select language. It is a possibility to change language on all pages. 5

3. Search Category search If you are uncertain of the product number or the description of a product, it can be located using the Category search. This is accessed by clicking on one of the top menu items e.g. Milling, Solid Tools, etc., and then drilling down to an easy-to-browse selection of products as shown below. 6

If there are products recommended by Seco due to their especially high availability service and wide application area, they are marked with the text Recommended by Seco. and a tooltip saying This product has an especially high availability, and wide area of application. exists. These recommended products are sorted first in the search hit list. Instant search If you know what product you are looking for, you can use the instant search field (Search), to locate it. Enter all or part of the product number or the product description in the search field and click on GO. The search results are displayed in the main section of the screen. If you want to make an exact search including the space character you can use quotation marks, e.g. "SCGX 05" or if you want to search for all products, leave the search field blank and click GO. If you only are interested in products with attached CAD drawings, check the box shown in the picture above and products without drawings will not be included in the search result. If a product is stated for replacement, the product will be displayed with a pink background. Replacement products will always be displayed with a pink background in the Online Store. 7

There will be no search result for products no longer available for purchase in the Online Store. The message We could not find any matches for your search. is being displayed. If there are products recommended by Seco due to their especially high availability service and wide application area, they are marked with the text Recommended by Seco. and a tooltip saying This product has an especially high availability, and wide area of application. exists. These recommended products are sorted first in the search hit list. 8

Advanced search To perform a more detailed search, use the Advanced Search functionality: Here you can search for products by entering a part or several parts of the product description. Choose this option in the pull-down menu next to the Search for field. You can then refine your search by entering parts of the product description that should not be included in the search. You can choose to search for all information about a product, such as product number or other additional information by using the Search for word in section. Two choices are available: product name and description and product name only. In a drop down list you can choose how many products to display per page in the Number of results per page menu. Notes on the search function: When typing a single word, e.g. 335, in the Search for field, and All of the words or Any of the words has been chosen, the search results should return all products that either contain 335 in their product number (like 00046335) or in their product name (like 335.10-0516-T15P). When typing several words in the Search for field and All of the words has been chosen, products whose name contains all of the words will be returned, e.g. a search for 16 500 would return the product 11NL16UN,CP500, because its name contains both 16 and 500, but not the product R220.21-0080-R160.6A, because its name does not contain 500. When typing several words in the Search for field and Any of the words has been chosen, any product whose name contains at least one of the words will be returned. To repeat the example from above, in a search for 16 500 the results would contain the product R220.21-0080-R160.6A, because its name contains 16. 9

In a similar fashion, a number of words in Exclude words in combination with All of the words or Any of the words would remove any product that contains all of the given words or at least one of the given words, respectively. A search for R220 with excluded words 80 55, Any of the words, would not return the product R220.21-0080-R160.6A, because its product name contains 80. Products are never excluded based on their product numbers. You have the same option as for the instant search to only include products with attached CAD drawings by checking the Only with CAD drawing box. 10

4. Product detail page The product detail page can be utilized anywhere in the store by clicking an item s product number or its description. Product number and package size You can only order complete package sizes, i.e. Seco does not sell broken packages in the Online Store. If you enter an invalid package size for a product the Online Store rounds up to correct package size at ordering and lets you know by displaying an information message. Inventory Inventory can be an indicator (green: at least one package in stock, red: item not in stock) or it can display the actual stock level. Stock levels are based on real time inventory information. When your order is received, it is possible that some items may be out of stock due to the fact that the inventory was low at the time of the online store query. Please contact your local Online Store administrator for more information. 11

Description of symbols: No net price available No list price available No inventory available At least one package in stock Item is not in stock Example of combinations: = Information in tool tips when marking the symbols above. List price, net price and discount. Net prices and discounts are based on real time information. By default, net prices and discounts are deactivated. Please contact your local Online Store administrator to access this information. When this functionality is available, you can turn the net price display on and off via your Account settings. Miscellaneous information Clicking the CAD drawing link will open a new window where you can view the corresponding CAD drawing online and download the drawing as a DXF file or a PDF file. An item may have CAD drawings in metric and/or in inch. 12

13

Product type information is also available. This refers to products that are not normally stocked and can have a delivery time of up to two weeks including S products and N products (made to order products). Tool tips (when placing the cursor on?) are displayed for these products: You can add the product to current order or add it to a pre-selected list from this page. If a product is stated for replacement, information about the replacement product is displayed in the box Replacement Product. If you would like to order this product, click on the product description link to launch the product detail page of the replacement product. 14

Products no longer available for purchase in the Online Store have a message in a yellow box below the product image and product information, with the following text: This product is no longer available in the Seco Online Store. Please contact your nearest Seco sales office for additional information on how to order this product. If the product is no longer available for purchase in the Online Store and it also has a replacement product, it will be displayed like in the following image. 15

If the product is recommended by Seco due to its especially high availability service and wide application area, it will be displayed like in the following image: 5. Product number ordering Quick order If you want to place a small order and already know the product numbers, the easiest way is to use the Quick Order functionality. Enter the product number in the Quick Order field and click GO. The product is placed in the shopping cart/ current order, with the quantity set to the minimum package size. If you try to add a product no longer available for purchase in the Online Store through the Quick order function, the following message is being displayed: The following products 02484770 are no longer available in the Seco Online Store. Please contact your nearest Seco sales office for additional information on how to order these products. 16

17

Ordering several products 18

US, CA, MX only If you want to place an order for more than a few items and you already know the product numbers, it is recommended that you use the product number ordering screen. This enables you to enter the product numbers with their respective quantities, and then place all the products in the shopping cart/ current order at once. To access this page, click the Enter More Items link under the Quick Order field, fill out the necessary fields (the tab key can be used to move between fields), then click Order at the bottom of the screen. If you need to add more than 15 items in one session to the shopping cart/current order, click More Items. Your first 15 items will be placed in the shopping cart/current order and 15 new fields will be available for you to enter more products. If you have entered one or more products which are no longer available for purchase in the Online Store in Enter more items, no items will be added to the shopping cart/current order until all these not unavailable products have been removed by you from the enter more items list. Information messages will be displayed letting you know which products that are no longer available for purchase in Online Store. 19

6. Pre-selected List The requisition list, or Pre-selected List, is used for storing products you order frequently. You can create numerous lists and you can add and subtract products when necessary. Create a Pre-selected List and add products Several methods can be used to create a new requisition list and to add products to it. The most basic way to create a new requisition list is to click the Pre-selected List button in the leftmost column in the store and then click on the button Create New Pre-selected List. A new page called New Pre-selected List will be displayed. Choose a name for your list. Select if you want to create a private list or a shared list i.e. a list you want to share with the rest of your organisation. If you already know which products you want in your list you write product numbers and quantities in the form and click Save to finish. If you already have a requisition list created or later want to add more products to your list, you can do this by entering the Edit Pre-selected List page by clicking on the list name. To add products on this page you need to know the product number. You can also enter a comment/remark for the product(s) on this page. The comments/remarks are for personal use only and will not be transferred to your shopping cart/current order if you add the product(s) to the shopping cart/current order. 20

You can also browse the catalogue for products and add them from the Product Detail page. 21

You can create a new requisition list from an order by choosing the option Add to requisition list on the Current Order page (1), then enter a name for your new list (2) and click Create pre-selected list (3). 1. 2. 3. Create an order from a Pre-selected List When you want to create an order from a Pre-selected List you click on the name of the chosen list to enter the Edit page. Then you need to check the boxes in the Add to cart column (1) for the products you want to order. Finally, click on the Enter Order button (2) to add the selected products to the shopping cart/current order and enter the Current Order page. 1. 2. 22

Shared and Private pre-selected lists If your organization has two or more users, pre-selected lists can be shared between the users. This can be very useful if a user is out of the office and another user is acting as a back-up in his/ her absence. It is still only the creator of the list that has the possibility to edit it. The creator of a shared list will enter the Edit pre-selected list page and others will enter the View pre-selected list page. If you don t want other persons in your organisation to have access to your requisition list you choose it to be Private when you create it. If you have a pre-selected list which contains one or more products which are no longer available for purchase in the Online Store, these products will be displayed with a yellow background and the quantity fields and the checkboxes Add to cart will not be accessible. However, you can still click on the product description links to display the product details pages and it is also possible to enter comments/remarks for these products. 23

If there are products recommended by Seco due to their especially high availability service and wide application area, they are marked with the text Recommended by Seco. and a tooltip saying This product has an especially high availability, and wide area of application. exists. 7. Current Order (Shopping Cart) The Current Order window (shopping cart) offers two views a mini view (visible when you log on to the store) and a full screen view. The above mini view displays the following fields: Description: This shows the quantity of each item ordered and the corresponding product number. Inventory: This displays the stock status for each product at the closest Distribution Center, as well as the combined stock status for the remaining Distribution Centers. Price/Total: This displays the list price or net price (if appropriate setup is made) per item as well as per line. Order Total: This is the order total (in net price if appropriate setup is made). You can delete individual lines by clicking the x icon to the right. 24

To view the full screen, click the Order button or click the maximize square in the upper right corner. 25

Current Order page You can enter a Requested Shipment Date for a specific order line (Not for US, CA, MX) You can enter a Requested Shipment Date for the whole order (Not for US, CA, MX) 26

Only for US, CA, MX Only US, CA, MX, SE, DK, BE, IN Only US, CA, MX Only US, CA, MX (if appropriate setup is made) 27

Only IN This page presents several options. First, you can see the product number and the product descriptions. You can add a comment on any line which will be included with the order in the business system. You can set the requested delivery date in the future for a line or for the entire order. The price per item and per line will both be displayed. You can change the product quantity, comment, and requested shipment date for the order lines. Click Update to save any changes made in current order including changes made to shipping information. Finally, you can pick an address in your address book from the Ship to pull-down menu, add a new shipping address (See Address book for more information about this), choose a shipping method (not applicable to all markets), enter a third party shipper account number (not applicable to all markets) and add goods mark/shipping instructions and/or a purchase order number. If you want the shipping address to be deleted after it has been used for this order, check the box This is a onetime address and will be removed from your address book after order submit. Once you have entered all appropriate information, click Express checkout / Submit order to proceed to the Order Summary page. 28

Here, you can review your final order and verify that all information is correct. Click Order to place the order. 29

File import to Current Order You do have the possibility to add products to your current order by importing a text file with the extension.csv or.txt. The first row in the CSV/TXT file, the header row, has to be something like ProductNo;Quantity and the following rows will be the products you want to add to your current order. The format of the rows holding your products is product number (EDP number for US, CA, MX) followed by a quantity corresponding to a multiple of the product s package size, separated by semicolon. The file can contain a maximum of 200 products. The following example explains how the content of the CSV/TXT file should look like: ProductNo;Quantity 75090191;1 00076741;1 02409612;1 02526593;30 When you have saved your file as a CSV (.csv) or TXT (.txt) file to your PC s hard drive, perform the following steps to import it to your current order: 1. In the leftmost column, navigate to the Import file to current order section and click the green button. A window will pop up to let you select your CSV/TXT file. 2. Click the Import file button to import the products to your current order If there are any deviations in the import file, you will get a notice at the top of the page. 30

8. Order Status / Order History Once an order has been placed, it is moved to the Order status/ Order History view. Like the Current Order page, it also has two options - a mini view (Order History) and a full screen view (Order Status). The mini view displays the following fields: Order number: This is the reference number issued by the Online Store. Please refer to this number when contacting your local Online Store administrator. Order date: The date the order was placed. Total price: The total order value (in net price if appropriate setup is made). You can use the icon to the right of each line to re-order a previous order. It will place the entire order into the Current Order page. This offers a convenient method to place repeating orders from the Online Store. If you re-order a previous order which contains one or more products that are no longer available for purchase in the Online Store, these products will not be added to the current order and the message below is displayed containing a list of these unavailable products. However, if the previous order also contains products which still are available, these products will be added to current order as usual. 31

From the Order History mini view click the maximize square or click the Order Status link in the top right menu to see a full screen view. Your order history will be displayed. You can then click on an order, to see the order details 32

The order confirmations received from the business system update the Order Status and Order Details. Note! The order confirmations sent from the business system to the customer are the legal order confirmations, not the order confirmations in the Online Store. 33

The Order Details page displays a detailed summary of the order status including: confirmed quantity, confirmed shipment date, confirmed price (your net price) and the confirmed discount (if appropriate setup is made). The total order charge received from the business system is displayed. The total amount may include taxes, freights, etc. depending of setup in the business system. If a historic order contains a product no longer available for purchase in Online Store, the product will be displayed with a yellow background. You can still click on the product description link to display the product details page. If the product also has a replacement product, the background will be pink, just as usual for products having replacement products. 34

35

9. User Account / Address book In the Online Store, your personal data is stored in two unique pages, the Personal information and the Address book. Both are accessible by clicking the Account link in the top right menu. Personal information This page contains the address of your account. This personal address can be used as a shipping address. On this page, you can e.g. change your password, maintain your e-mail address, and turn the net prices display on and off - given the option is enabled. 36

37

Address book This page contains your shipping addresses. You can add as many shipping addresses as necessary by clicking the Add New Personal Address button. You can also edit an existing address by clicking Edit and then changing the required fields. Click Submit to save any changes you make. Finally, you can remove an existing shipping address by clicking the Delete button. Note! On some markets all shipping addresses are created and maintained by the local Seco sales office. On those markets you can only view the existing shipping addresses in your Address book. 38
