CIM qualifications overview Introductory Certificate Professional Certificate Professional Diploma Chartered Postgraduate Diploma Interested to find out more about marketing? Looking to advance your career? Getting into marketing management? Aspiring to be a senior marketer? Develops a good understanding of marketing fundamentals in a short period. CAM qualifications overview CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications Learn how to use marketing communications to meet business objectives. Register for CIM Assessments Your study centre will inform which units to enter for. There are 4 assessment sessions a year: March, June, September and December. You must register for your assessments before the deadline. Register for CIM Assessments You must have applied for, or be a CIM studying member, to register for assessments. You may register for assessments in two ways: Online http://www.cim.co.uk/assessmententry. You need to be logged into your MyCIM account. Post Complete and return the paper assessment entry form. This can be found on the following page of the Learning Zone website: http://www.cimlearningzone.co.uk/ assessment/book-assessments
Assessment by assignment Assignment briefs - your study centre is responsible for issuing assignment briefs and collecting your assignment for submission to CIM. Your study centre will support you throughout this process and then send the assignments to the CIM for marking. Closing dates for submission of assignments are set by your study centre. Referencing information, past papers and more are available on www.cimlearningzone.co.uk. Plagiarism and collusion are offences that CIM takes seriously. Candidates committing either offence will be subject to a penalty deemed appropriate by the Examination Board.
Assessment by examination Exam timetable - Please check the exam timetables when you enter for your assessments http://www.cimlearningzone.co.uk/assessment/important-dates. Photographic identification - All students are required to provide photographic identification to the invigilator along with a current CIM membership card. Special consideration during CIM exams - CIM offers a service for those who require additional support during their examinations. For further advice, please email specialconsideration@cim.co.uk. International centres - If you are sitting examinations outside the UK, you may be required to pay local fees to the authority conducting them. Code of conduct for examinations - You will receive a leaflet entitled Assessment Rules for Candidates with your assessment entry details. Growth The Chartered CPD Programme What counts? You can work towards the annual requirement of 35 hours as flexibly as possible across ten categories. Actively studying for a CIM/CAM qualification may allow you to claim the full annual requirement of CPD hours for the 2012-2013 CPD year. CIM will recognise each completed year of CPD activity by issuing you with an Evidence of Development certificate to certify your commitment to on-going learning. BUT Registration for CPD is not automatic. You must either tick the CPD box when you register online as a CIM member or sign up at http://www.cim.co.uk/charteredcpd or fill in the paper application form.
