GCI G400 Vegas Get Away Sweepstakes Official Rules No Purchase Necessary to Enter or Win. A Purchase Will Not Improve Your Chances of Winning. Open to all legal Alaskan residents who, as of April 15, 2016 are 21 years of age or older. 1. How To Enter: The GCI G400 Get Away Sweepstakes (the Sweepstakes ) begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ( ET ) on April 15, 2016 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on June 15, 2016 (the Sweepstakes Period ). GCI residential cable TV subscribers that have purchased GCI G Series G400 TV service during the sweepstakes period will automatically be entered into the sweepstakes. Alaska residents who are not GCI residential cable TV subscribers, but who are otherwise eligible to participate, may enter by legibly hand-printing his or her: full name, address, contact phone number, email address if available, and the words GCI G400 Vegas Get Away Sweepstakes on a standard-sized postcard and mailing it to GCI, c/o GCI G400 Vegas Get Away Sweepstakes, 5151 Fairbanks St., Anchorage, AK, 99503. Limit one (1) entry per person during the Sweepstakes Period. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than one entry by using multiple scans, identities, registrations, automated entry services or any other method will void that participant s entries and that participant may be disqualified. All post card entries must be postmarked by June 15, 2016 to be eligible. Post card entries must be mailed and not hand delivered. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of GCI Cable, Inc. ( GCI or Sponsor ), which shall be final and binding in all respects. 2. Eligibility: The Sweepstakes is open to all legal Alaskan residents who, as of April 15, 2016 are 21 years of age or older. Employees of Sponsor, Starz Entertainment, LLC. ( STARZ ) and each of their respective parents, subsidiary or affiliated companies, and each of their respective shareholders, employees, directors, members, officers, affiliates, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns, and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, the Promotion Entities ), and each of their immediate families (spouse and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. For the purposes of this sweepstakes, an Alaska resident is defined as an individual having either a valid Alaska Driver s License, proof of receipt of either a 2015 or later Alaska Permanent Fund dividend check, or a valid Alaska Voter s Registration Card. Void where prohibited by law. 3. Winner Selection/Odds: The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing on or about July 25, 2016 from among all eligible entries received. Drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all
matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received. 4. Grand Prize and Approximate Retail Values ( ARV ): STARZ is the prize provider for this Sweepstakes. One (1) Grand Prize is available: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) trip for two (2) to Las Vegas, NV. ( Trip) The Trip consists solely of the following for use only by winner and his or her one (1) guest: two (2) round trip, economy-class airfare tickets from Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport to Las Vegas NV; accommodations one (1) room (based on double occupancy) for three (3) nights at a Hotel in Las Vegas, NV selected by Sponsor; ground transportation between the airport and Hotel upon arrival to and departure from Las Vegas, NV and $500 awarded in the form of a check. All details of the Trip will be determined by STARZ in its sole discretion. The ARV of the Grand Prize is $6,000.00. The Grand Prize may not be refunded, transferred, sold, traded, substituted, commissioned or redeemed for cash or credit at any time (except at Sponsor s sole discretion), nor will any portion of Grand Prize be replaced if lost or stolen. Winner must comply with all rules and regulations. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner is solely responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs, incidentals, and any other expenses associated with Grand Prize acceptance and use not specifically mentioned as being provided, and thus not included as part of the Grand Prize. Travel must be completed by December 31, 2016. Trip must be booked 45 days prior to departure. All hotel reservations are based on availability and all holidays are excluded. Accommodations are subject to availability at time of reservation. Blackout dates, advance booking requirements and travel restrictions may apply. If for any reason whatsoever, Grand Prize winner and/or guests are unable to travel after all travel arrangements have been made and paid, the Promotion Entities shall have no further obligation to the winner. If Grand Prize is forfeited prior to Sponsor finalizing and paying for travel, and there is sufficient time to notify an alternate winner, at Sponsor s sole discretion, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing from among all non-winning eligible entries. Airline carrier and agent to be selected by STARZ at its sole discretion. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel together on the same itinerary and air transportation and hotel accommodations must be taken by the Grand Prize winner and guest together. Once trip dates have been booked, no extension or substitution of trip dates is permitted, except at STARZ s sole discretion. Once travel has been confirmed, any cancellation or change fees or restructuring of the trip are the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize winner. Grand Prize winner and guest(s) are responsible for obtaining the proper travel documentation (e.g., valid photo ID) prior to travel. Winner s guest must be a legal Alaskan resident over the age of eighteen (18) or a spouse or child of the Winner, and must complete and return a Liability/Publicity/Travel Release prior to travel as noted above. Neither Sponsor nor STARZ are responsible for lost or stolen tickets/passes/itinerary/identification, etc. 5. General Rules: The Promotion Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software or telephone malfunctions of any kind, lost or unavailable network
connections, or failed, incorrect, incomplete, inaccurate, garbled or delayed electronic communications or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual that tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; violates these Official Rules; or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages and other remedies (including attorneys fees) from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes (or any portion thereof) if it is not capable of running as planned, including, but not limited to, the following reasons: infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other problems beyond the control of the Sponsor, and Sponsor will have the right to award the Prize(s) for the drawing at issue from among the non-suspect, eligible entries received for such drawing prior to the action requiring such modification. The Promotion Entities shall have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. Winner Notification/Release: Potential Grand Prize winner will be notified by telephone on or about June 25, 2016 and will be required to confirm his/her mailing address/eligibility prior to prize award. If potential Grand Prize winner is not reachable at the phone number provided within 24 hours, or if the potential grand Prize winner declines the Grand Prize for any reason, then the Grand Prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from among all of the remaining eligible entries received at Sponsor s sole discretion, time permitting. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is not received by a potential winner for any reason. Acceptance of prize constitutes winner s permission for the Promotion Entities and their respective designees to use winner s name,
photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, statements and address (city and state) for advertising and/or publicity purposes worldwide and in all forms of media now known or hereafter developed in any manner, in perpetuity, without further compensation, notification or permission, except where prohibited by law.
