DirectLine Overview 7 Equipment Management The equipment database facilitates analysis of both the short and longterm costs of equipment, together with accurate measurement of its performance. Accurate current records of equipment data and repair history replace traditional filing or on integrated systems. Complete equipment records. Unlimited cross-references including queries by keyword, spare parts, work orders, PM's and cost centers. Hierarchical breakdown of all equipment. Unlimited ability to explode any assembly into their respective sub-assemblies. Accurate equipment costing including material and labor charges for "year to date" and "lifetime". Ability to track equipment meter readings by user-defined measuring units. Direct access to CAD drawings Parts traced against a work order can either reduce inventory at the time of issue, or when a work order is closed. Softkey access to outstanding work orders for that equipment Unlimited storage of equipment technical specifications. Comprehensive equipment, part and labor cross-references, limited only to the information tion recorded by the user
DirectLine Overview 8 Maintenance Work Orders Work Orders provide information on work due and work previously done, by user-defined criteria, and provide the option of planning all materials and labor for critical and shutdown work. Work requests can be initiated by anyone, recording the equipment piece affected, the problem, the urgency and the date created. Integrated problem and correction codes are available. Work order backlog provides a list of all outstanding work orders searchable on any field. Work order planning allows the entry of detailed parts, tools and labor. Planned Work Orders allow for authorization and planner approvals. There is no limit to the problem description on the work orders. "DO-IT-NOW" work orders allow a user to record work previously completed without the requirement of initiating, planning and closing a work order. It will automatically be recorded to a completed state. This is ideal for tracking emergency work orders. Actual hours worked may be recorded in the work order completion screen, or using the employee time card function. Materials used can be tracked using the work order completion screen, or the parts issue option. History Work Orders can be recalled and reviewed any time.
DirectLine Overview 9 Preventive Maintenance The Preventive Maintenance module allows you to manage your preventive maintenance functions by giving you a means of predefining labor, parts and tool needs for repetitive work, and then scheduling that work via work orders. Standard Documents that detail all steps in a particular maintenance procedure. Printed on or with work orders. Safety documents which detail all lock out and safety measures associated with that particular maintenance procedure. Printed on, or with, work orders. Entry of all parts, special tools and labor requirements for each maintenance procedure. Printed on work orders. Specify preventive maintenance as: Regular, inspection or consolidated. Cross-reference to drawings, which can be directly accessed on a CAD system.
DirectLine Overview 10 Analysis Module Increased access to all sources of data from within your operation provides you with an opportunity to analyze this information to improve your operation. We have chosen WINDOWS as our integration tool because it provides inexpensive access to numerous sources of data and the capability of displaying the results in a variety of formats such as graphic packages, spreadsheets or other databases. DirectLine Overview 11 Procedures (PM Standard Documents) A standard document is a form that will be attached or printed on the work order when a work request is generated by the PM scheduler for a piece of equipment. It may contain a check list of things to verify, or it may contain instructions on the work to perform. A Safety Document, is the same thing, except that it is used specifically for safety precautions, such as lockout or tank entry procedures.
