Instructions to Applicant Fraser Randall Ltd (FR), on behalf of Bank Negara Malaysia, intend to award a contract for Practical Interactive Production and Supply package of works which will form part of the interior fit out of new exhibition galleries within a new Financial Museum and Art Gallery (FMAG), in Kuala Lumpur. The contract will be let for the period from award of Contract to Delivery date, both to be advised in tender documents, but with a work start date in early 2007 and completion and delivery in early 2008. The pre-qualification questionnaire will be used to determine whether your company is suitable to tender for the works. Should your company fail to meet a satisfactory level of pre-qualification your tender will not be considered. To enable FR Ltd on behalf of Bank Negara Malaysia to assess your production company s suitability to become a prospective contractor, it is important that you provide all the information as outlined in this application form. Failure to complete this form in full or to provide any of the documents requested will result in your tender rejected. Please make a special note of the mandatory requirements of your company. (Section 1.5) Where insufficient space has been provided in this document please append additional pages. Any information submitted will be treated in confidence. All information must relate to the applicant only. The applicant is the organisation that it is proposed will enter into a formal contract with Bank Negara Malaysia. All responses and submissions provided by the applicant will form part of the contract should the applicant subsequently be successful. Applicants may apply on a consortium basis as long as one member takes the lead. Bank Negara Malaysia will only enter into contract with the lead member of the team. This application should be filled in as if for the lead person with the exception of the sections re work references and previous projects. The response must clearly identify as to which member of the consortium these references and projects are relevant to. Preference will be given to consortia with a proven track record in the field. 3

Project Description: A new Financial Museum and Art Gallery (FMAG) are to be built within a new Financial Services Resource Centre (FSRC) building for Bank Negara Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur. The FMAG will be a state-of-the-art facility for the general public. It will include a Children s Gallery, an Economic & Monetary Gallery, a Corporate Gallery, a Numismatic Gallery, an Islamic Finance Gallery, an Art Gallery, a Presentation Theatre, a Café, a Shop and a Conservation Centre. The Practical Interactive Production and Supply package is likely to consist of approximately 24 practical interactive games designed to provide the visitor with all forms of information. Some of the games deal with complex economics and finance related subjects. The producer will be expected to become familiar with these and be willing to develop ideas with the project s creative team whilst at the same time providing a high level of creativity. The requirement is for a full service production company to be totally responsible for all aspects of the PI production, including account management and liaison between the client, and museum design teams. Working from prepared briefs you will be expected to prepare creative treatments, designs, scripts and storyboards as required for presentation to the client. Following approval of these by the client, you will be required to create all the necessary production elements, such as cabinets, graphics, electro mechanical equipment, etc. Audio-Visual equipment will be supplied by others, and be subject to agreement with yourselves. Subsequently, you will be required to ship all the components to the FMAG site, assemble, test, commission, hand over to and train staff. You will be required to agree to the client s approvals process, to make presentations at agreed stages during production, and to conduct R&D testing where required. You will be expected to deliver display and archive copies of all games and databases to the required formats and standards. The contract will be inclusive of all rates, materials and expenses.
