1. INTRODUCTION The Emirates Group is one of the largest and fastest growing airlines in the world, with a huge number of staff all over the world working in coheres to provide the best services. Our Group Safety Department has a motto of ensuring safety to all our employees across the world. This is achieved by operating an Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS), which addresses in detail issues such as safety culture, senior management commitment, hazard identification and risk management. For achieving high-quality safety management solutions the Emirates Group Technology Centre has successfully created a web-based application SiD. SiD offers competent support and management of all the safety data of the organization at one place, thus providing maximum visibility of all the safety operational activities at one platform. This guide gives a brief overview of how to register and login as a Non-Emirates Group staff. 2. INTENDED AUDIENCE Third-Party Non-Emirates Group staff, who need to file reports on SiD. 3. ABOUT SiD SiD is the Emirates Groups web-based application for safety-reporting. SiD makes it easier to record, report and manage all the safety related requirements of the Emirates Group. It is designed to: Assist in meeting Health & Safety compliance standards Take Corrective and Preventive Actions for safety (Audit) Report hazards and much more 4. HARDWARE & SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS To run SiD on your computer: Use Internet Explorer (IE9 and above, Chrome are recommended) Username and Password SiD Third Party User Guide Page 3 of 12

6. HOW TO ACCESS SiD VIA INTERNET 1. On the recommended web browser enter the URL http://sid.emirates.com this will take you to the SiD login page. 2. Click on the Non-Emirates Group login button. 3. This will take you to the Non-Emirates Group login page. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 4 of 12

4. If you are already registered then enter your Username, Password, box text and then click on Login. If you are a new user, click on Apply Now. 5. For viewing the Help File, click on. 7. NEW USER REGISTRATION ON SiD 1. When you click Register Now, then a new Registration window will open. 2. Fill in all the details marked as * or else your registration will not be successful. 3. Select the reports and time period for which you need access from the list below. It is important to agree with the terms and conditions before clicking on Submit. 4. Once you have entered the correct details in the form then click on Submit. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 6 of 12

5. You will receive a message stating that you have been successfully registered. You will also receive an email from SiD. 6. Once the SiD team will approve your registration, you will get a registration and an access approval/rejection email from SiD. 7. Now you are ready to login in to SiD. 8. LOGIN TO SiD When you receive an approval mail from SiD then you are ready to login and work on SiD. 1. Enter your Username and Password and then enter the text given in the box correctly. 2. Click on Login. 8.1 Forgot Password 1. If you forgot your password then click on Forgot your password. This will open the Forgot Password window. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 8 of 12

2. Enter your registered email address and the click on Submit. 3. You will receive an email from SiD containing your password. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 9 of 12

8.2 Reset Password 1. On the login page click on Reset Password. 2. This will take you to the New Password window. 3. Enter the required details and click on Submit. You will receive a password reset confirmation email from SiD. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 10 of 12

9. ACCOUNT EXPIRED SiD will send you a notification email three days before your account is about to expire. Select the time period of account extension from the drop-down box. 1. Click on Link. 2. This will take you to the Account Expired screen. 3. Enter the comments/reasons for extension and click on Activate. SiD Third Party User Guide Page 11 of 12

4. You will receive a message that your request has been sent for approval. Your account will be reactivated from the date of expiry. 5. Once your request has been approved by the SiD Team, you will receive a confirmation email. For more information or support, please email us at itsc@emirates.com.
