The Dashboard The Dashboard is the new hub for the portal
The Dashboard Functional areas Universal navigation Primary navigation Secondary navigation Web channel content Dashboard Menu It is arranged into a number of discreet areas, see next slide for descriptions of each of the area
The Dashboard Functional areas Navigation bars Universal navigation to other BT domains, based on chosen region, the links will open in a new browser tab Primary navigation accesses other parts of GS website, use the My account link to return to Dashboard Secondary navigation provides links to Dashboard and My profile pages, it may also provide links to GS portal and Customer Zone based on your user profile The navigation text will be displayed in the language of your chosen region / location Content The web channel area displays location specific marketing content The content text will be displayed in the language of your chosen region / location Applications and notifications The dashboard menu provides direct access to applications and portal notices If you have selected UK English as the location then you may see additional dashboard links for Customer Zone and UK Billing The text in this area, and for the GS Portal applications, is determined by the language settings in My profile
Navigation - Accessing applications from the Dashboard These links are not normally displayed if your location is non UK These links provide direct access to your GS portal applications The dashboard menu is driven by your profile and location, a user may see Customer Zone; GS Portal, or both sections
Navigation - Accessing applications from the Dashboard The links are not normally display if your location is set to non UK The links provide direct access to your GS portal applications To access an application, click on the menu item, if there are sub-applications a secondary menu will be displayed to the right of the chosen application. In this example we ll click on Faults
Navigation - Accessing GS Portal applications This is the existing portlet with the additional Universal; Primary and Secondary navigation bars An additional tertiary navigation bar allows a change of application without returning to the dashboard Tertiary navigation
Navigation - Using the tertiary navigation to access GS Portal a GSP Home takes you to the GS portal home page
Navigation - Using the tertiary navigation to access GS Portal a Faults takes you to the Faults (Incidents) page etc.
Navigation - Using the secondary navigation to move between Use the Dashboard link to take you back to the dashboard page

My profile - Using the secondary navigation to access your per The My profile link will take you to the profile screens where you can manage personal profile
My Profile -Manage user profile page In the My profile area you manage your personal details, and can change password; pin and security question/answer
The Dashboard Regional variations The Dashboard comes with regional variations, what you get is determined by the choice of region that you made during the registration process and can be modified using the link at the top of the page.
Changing location Click on the required location e.g. France
Changing location Click on Continue and save preferences, this will save a cookie on your PC to remember your settings for the next time you login
Changing location After changing region you are redirected to the GS web channel Home page for the location. Just click on the Dashboard link to return to the country specific version of the dashboard
Dashboard Non UK locations e.g. France - French The web channel area; primary and universal navigation bars are displayed using the chosen country language. The secondary navigation bar; Dashboard menu and GS Portal pages use your My profile language setting
To log off use the Log out link This will end your portal session
