He also served as Senior Vice President of Marke=ng at Computer Associates (CA), responsible for developing the strategies and campaigns that reposi=oned the company as the leading enterprise IT management sogware vendor on the market. Prior to his posi=on at CA, Brian directed the corporate marke=ng efforts at Netegrity, a leading enterprise security management sogware vendor that was acquired by CA in 2004. He was also a member of the senior management team at both Allaire Corpora=on and Macromedia. Brian holds a BS degree from Syracuse University.
GUEST SPEAKER William Oldach, III Of Counsel Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease LLP Mr. Oldach is of counsel in the Vorys Washington, D.C. office and a member of the technology and intellectual property group. His prac=ce focuses on all aspects of intellectual property, with a par=cular emphasis on patent and trademark li=ga=on and appellate prac=ce. He has li=gated cases in many United States District Courts, as well as the U.S.P.T.O. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and the United States Interna=onal Trade Commission. In addi=on, Mr. Oldach consults in patent and trademark prosecu=on mayers and assists in intellectual property aspects of corporate transac=ons.

WORKSHOP MODERATOR Jody Westby CEO, Global Cyber Risk LLC Drawing upon a unique combina=on of more than twenty years of technical, legal, policy, and business experience, Ms. Westby provides consul=ng and legal services to public and private sector clients around the world in the areas of privacy, security, cybercrime, forensic inves=ga=ons and e discovery. She also serves as Adjunct Dis=nguished Fellow for Carnegie Mellon CyLab. Prior to forming Global Cyber Risk, Ms. Westby served as senior managing director for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), specializing in outsourcing and cyber security/ privacy issues. Before that, she was president of The Work IT Group; launched In Q Tel, an IT venture capital/solu=ons company for the CIA; served as director of domes=c policy for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce; and was senior fellow and director of IT studies for the Progress & Freedom Founda=on. Earlier in her career, Ms. Westby prac=ced law with two top =er New York firms and spent ten years in the computer industry specializing in database management systems. Ms. Westby is a member of the bars of the District of Columbia, Pennsylvania, and Colorado and serves as chair of the American Bar Associa=on s Privacy and Computer Crime CommiYee. She co chairs the World Federa=on of Scien=sts Permanent Monitoring Panel on Informa=on Security and represents the ABA on the Na=onal Conference of Lawyers and Scien=sts. She is also a member of the United Na=on s High Level Experts Group on Cyber Security and led the development of the ITU Toolkit on Cybercrime Legisla7on. Ms. Westby is coauthor and editor of four books on privacy, security, cybercrime, and enterprise security programs. She speaks globally and is the author of numerous ar=cles.
