Addiction Acronym Guide A Resource for Addiction Professionals This resource is made possible through the Addiction Training and Workforce Development Program, funded by the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services.

About this Guide This guide was designed to be a resource to addiction professionals and guide them through the many acronyms they may face during their day-to-day work. On the following pages, you will find acronyms listed for various state government departments and divisions, national and statewide coalitions and committees, substance abuse prevention programs implemented throughout the state, and clinical terms related to addiction treatment. If you have any suggestions for additional acronyms NJPN can add to this guide to make it a more valuable resource for addiction professionals, please e-mail the information to info@njpn.org.
