I have specialized in women s issues especially past trauma. I also have had extensive experience and expertise in working with Axis II disorders. Modalities include both individual, marital and group therapy. My orientation continues to be multi-theoretical including psychodynamic, cognitive/behavioral, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness based cognitive therapy, systemic/family and motivational therapy to present - Clinical Faculty Department of Psychiatry University of North Dakota Medical School I teach the group therapy segment of the required residency curriculum. As a result of community demand and national awareness, I developed an incest treatment program. The program was innovative for its time. 3 As the director of a statewide adoption program my responsibilities included supervision of case work activities; administration of federally subsidized special needs adoption program; representation of the program on local, state and national levels; and staff supervision.
