How Poise* Bladder Supports work Are Poise* Bladder Supports right for you? YES! NO! BLADDER BLADDER If you leak urine when you: URETHRA VAGINA VAGINA PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES Without Poise* Bladder Support With Poise* Bladder Support Laugh Cough Sneeze Dance Exercise Poise* Bladder Supports are for you. This is called Stress Urinary Incontinence. If you leak urine when you: Have a sudden need or rush to urinate. OR Poise* Bladder Supports are NOT for you. This is called Urge Urinary Incontinence. If you have BOTH kinds of Urine Leaks (Mixed Incontinence), this product is NOT for you. Easily inserts into the vagina to support the urethra Helps prevent leaks while allowing you to use the bathroom normally 3 4
Do NOT use Poise* Bladder Supports if you... Are under the age of 21 Are pregnant, may become pregnant, or have given birth in the past 3 months Have experienced unusual or unexpected vaginal bleeding within the last 6 months Have pain or a burning sensation when you urinate (this could be a urinary tract infection) Are experiencing vaginal discharge that smells bad, irritation, soreness or itching (this could be a vaginal infection) Had vaginal surgery within the past 3 months Have already been diagnosed by your doctor with a severely dry (atrophic) vagina Do NOT use Poise* Bladder Supports if... If Poise* Bladder Supports work for you, there are still times when you should not use them: During your period or if you have any vaginal bleeding With a tampon Using the same support more than once Using more than one support at a time During sexual intercourse Ask a doctor before using if you... Have pain during intercourse or when inserting a tampon or tampon-like device (this could be an atrophic vagina) Often experience difficulty in retaining a tampon or tampon-like device (this could be vaginal prolapse) 5 If the package is damagedv Do not use Poise* Bladder Supports for more than 8 hours in a 24-hour period. 8 hours 6
Precautions If you experience any of the following symptoms, remove the Poise* Bladder Support and call your doctor: Warning Remove the Poise* Bladder Support immediately if you have a fever of 102ºF AND one or more of the following symptoms: Pain or burning when urinating Aching muscles or joints A rash that looks like sunburn Vaginal discharge that smells bad Redness in your eyes Vomiting Irritation or itching in your vagina Sore throat Diarrhea Vaginal bleeding not during your monthly period Weakness, fainting or dizziness Pain in your vagina Increased bladder leakage 7 Call your doctor immediately because you may have Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is a rare but serious disease that can cause death if your doctor does not treat it right away. Increased risk of TSS is associated with products worn in the vagina. However, an association with use of this product and TSS has not been established. 8
Possible Side Effects In clinical research, women have reported a few mild and temporary side effects when using Poise* Bladder Supports for the first few times. These symptoms typically did not last more than 14 days. Small blood spots on the product Mild discomfort Vaginal soreness The rate of urinary and vaginal infections that have been reported while using Poise* Bladder Supports is similar to what is found in the general population. How to use Poise* Bladder Supports Step 1: Select the Right Size POISE* IMPRESSA* Bladder Supports are available in three sizes please see page 2 for more information about each size. Selecting the right size is important in providing the most comfortable solution that works for you. a. Start with the Sizing Kit. b. Use Size 1 first. If it feels comfortable and you have little or no urine leaks, then Size 1 is for you! c. If the product does not feel comfortable or if you still experience leakage, continue to try the next larger size until you find the size that is right for you. 9 10
Step 2: Prepare to Insert a. Wash your hands. Step 3: Insert b. Remove the wrapper. c. Gently pull on the string to make sure it is firmly attached and hanging outside the applicator. 11 a. Find a comfortable position, either sitting on the toilet with knees apart or standing with one foot elevated. c. Hold the applicator with your thumb and ring finger on the lowest line of the grip, as shown. b. Apply a water-based lubricant, if needed, to the rounded tip of the applicator for more comfortable insertion. 12

Place the applicator tip into your vagina and gently slide the applicator into your vagina until your thumb and ring finger touch your body. 13 e. Push the plunger with your pointer finger all the way into the applicator until it stops, as you would with a tampon. f. Remove and discard the applicator in the trash; do not flush the applicator. g. The Poise* Bladder Support should feel comfortable and the removal string should be hanging outside your body. h. If you feel discomfort, use your pointer finger to make sure that the Poise* Bladder Support is about 3/4 inch inside your vagina (up to the first joint of your pointer finger). If it is not, remove the Poise* Bladder Support and insert a new one. 14
Step 4: Remove and Discard See your doctor if using Poise* Bladder Supports does not reduce your bladder leakage after using for 14 days. You may have a different type of incontinence that is not Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI) and requires different treatment. Any discomfort when using Poise* Bladder Supports should be temporary and go away after you have found the right size for you. If discomfort or small blood spots on the product continue after the first 14 days of usage, stop using Poise* Bladder Supports and consult your doctor. a. Anytime up to 8 hours of use, remove the Poise* Bladder Support by gently pulling downward on the string. Remember the total number of hours that you use the Poise* Bladder Supports should not exceed 8 hours in every 24-hour period. 15 b. Discard the Poise* Bladder Support in the trash. Do not reuse Do not flush this product All women should visit their doctor at least once a year for a routine health check. 16
