Who Is Eligible to Apply: Any Full Time and Half Time new or existing students (please see individual scholarship to determine eligibility). Please note that, to apply for a scholarship or bursary, a student must either be enrolled or officially offered a place at Eaton Arrowsmith (Eaton Arrowsmith School, Eaton Arrowsmith Academy, Eaton Cognitive Improvement Centre and Magnussen School) for the 2016-2017 school year.
How to Apply for a Scholarship: Eaton Arrowsmith offers the following scholarships (described below). All applications must be submitted by 4:00pm on Monday December 7 th and will be reviewed by the admissions and financial team and awarded by December 11, 2015 for the 2016-2017 school year. Students receiving financial aid will have until January 22, 2016 to accept their scholarship by confirmation of enrolment for the 2016-2017 academic year. *You can apply for multiple scholarships but can receive only one. **Please submit all scholarship application documents as one package by mail or email. ***Scholarships are awarded annually. ****Scholarships are limited and subject to availability year to year. *****This application will not be reviewed unless all documents required are submitted. ******You must provide a separate essay for each scholarship you apply for. *******Current (2015-2016) Part Time students who enroll in Full Time for the 2016-2017 school year are eligible to apply. Scholarships Available: Awarded Annually The Eaton Arrowsmith Community Scholarship, funded by members of our community. This scholarship is awarded to the student who shows commitment to bringing his or her community together and commitment to the inclusion of others. The International Scholarship in Recognition of Ben Chen: This scholarship is awarded annually to an international student continuing his or her program who demonstrates not only excellent cognitive engagement but also shows resilience, citizenship and commitment to program completion. Only returning students are eligible for this scholarship Only international students qualify The Howard Eaton Scholarship for Early Intervention: This scholarship is awarded to a student from British Columbia entering his or her first year in one of our schools. Howard is the founder of Eaton Educational Group and when he was diagnosed with a learning disability as a child in Vancouver his parents enrolled him in a boarding school for students with learning difficulties in the eastern United States in order for him to receive support. He hopes that with this scholarship he can support the needs of a student in BC. The High School Excellence Scholarship in Recognition of Ruth Talbot: This scholarship is awarded to a high school student who aspires for academic and cognitive program excellence. The candidate will exemplify leadership, determination and community service. Students aged 13 to 18 only can apply The Adult Learner Scholarship in Recognition of Angela Smith: This scholarship is awarded to an adult student who is committed to continued post secondary education and/or vocational training and who demonstrates leadership and commitment to the Arrowsmith program. Adults aged 18 years and older are eligible to apply. Only returning students are eligible for this scholarship Students must be studying at EAA/ECIC Redmond, ECIC Vancouver, ECIC West Vancouver, and EAS/ECIC Victoria locations The Eaton Arrowsmith Ambassador Scholarship in Recognition of Arlo Rose: The value of this scholarship is $2,500. This scholarship is awarded to the student in our community who shows commitment to our vision and engagement in helping our organization.
