Hospitality Industry Training & Development Centre and 旅 遊 服 務 業 培 訓 發 展 中 心 及 中 華 廚 藝 學 院 CERTIFICATE COURSE FOR HYGIENE MANAGERS 衛 生 經 理 訓 練 課 程 INTRODUCTION 簡 介 The Hygiene Managers Course is being introduced to train industry personnel for the Hygiene Manager and Hygiene Supervisor Scheme of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department. According to the Scheme, all large food establishments and food establishments producing high risk food are required to appoint a Hygiene Manager and/or a Hygiene Supervisor as a condition for granting or renewing a food business license as of May 2005. The course will equip industry personnel with the necessary food safety and hygiene knowledge so as to enable them to perform the duties of hygiene managers. This course is recognized by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department to meet the requirements as the position of Hygiene Manager.
