Vineta Germany, 12 Nautical Mile Limit, Territorial Sea of MWP WV Energie AG has identified another suitable site for an OWF within the 12 nautical mile limit of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and has entered the project development with its project company KNK Vineta. 7

The Ministry has confirmed the application in December 2012. Status reports (1-7) about the ecological studies onsite have shown no unusual results or occurences so far. Two areas without previous impacts could be identified (1000 MW in total). After completed preparations, WV applied for development approval with the BHS in April 2012. Estimated development time until approval notification by BHS: 4.5 years OWF Concordia 1 and 2 have been listed in the CONTIS database since January 2013. This data base was developed by the BSH to give an overview of the present and future uses of the marine environment in the North Sea ( CONTIS map ). The approval was initially granted on condition that construction works would start before the end of October 2012, but the BSH has extened the time limit to June 2014. The grid connection will very likely use the converter station BorWin2 (Beta), which is currently set up and will be completed by the end of 2013. The connection offers a capacity of 800 MW and will be used by both windparks Global Tech 1 and Veja Mate. Opportunities for synergies in combination with BARD Offshore 1 (e.g. one operator and one platform) 11
