Introduction Over 40 years ago, when founding PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV, I wanted to create a company which would be able to support the customers with quality and custom made solutions. These sterilizers are manufactured in our own factory under the CE certificate for medical devices. Both our sterilizers and our washer disinfectors are equipped with an under private label developed operating system. If desired we can also provide you with a solution for the production of steam. Steam generators whether electrical or steam heated are within our product-line. Training and education Working with new equipment asks a lot of your employees, new technology can cause failures and this is what both you and us want to prevent. We as PMT Partners Medische Techniek have seen this problem and have taken our responsibility by creating a special service for our customers, which fully fits our philosophy how to cooperate with our customers. Training: Certificate of experience Before installing our equipment we offer our customer a training in their new equipment. Whether it concern a technician or a user a training on every level can be given. At the end of the training there will be a test and if passed for this test a Certificate of experience is given and also an entering code for using the equipment. DUTCH STERILIZER Sterilization equipment HR The DS 2000 HR High efficiency steam sterilizer with high highly sophisticated control and registration system, its light weight round chamber and water saving system fulfils completely the economic en environmental demands of modern times. Using the latest technology and materials, the DS 2000 HR is an high level product, complying with national and international guidelines. PMT Partners Medische Techniek is certificated according ISO 9001: 2000 en ISO 13485, for designing, production and supplying steam sterilizers and steam generators. The sterilizers are provided for the use of clean steam according the guidelines and are manufactured under the CE certificate for medical devices. Depending of the purpose this can be the European Medical Directive 2007/47EG (93/42/EEG) or the guideline for machines. The sterilizer is also according to the European norms, such as EN 285 and EN-ISO 17665 (former EN 554). The laser welded sterilizer chamber is made of stainless steel, AISI 316L. The sterilizer is designed for pressures from 1 Bar vacuum, ( 0 kpa.abs) till +3 Bar (400 kpa.abs). The construction complies the Pressure Equipment Directive 79/23/EEC. The sterilizer can be supplied in both single doors or double doors ( pass through version). The sterilizer is made for the use of clean steam according the guidelines ( EN285) and is manufactured under the CE certification in compliance with the guidelines for medical devices. The steam processes are based on an effective removal of air, necessary for a reliable sterilization of a load. The area of application of this sterilizer is for instance: - Sterilization of liquids in not totally closed containers like bottles - Sterilization of rinsed utensils like empty glass and porous materials - Disinfection of contaminated goods like cloths, petri-dishes and others - Destruction of contaminated waste like used petri dishes, even when they are packed in bags or containers The Dutch Sterilizer Steam / Destruction sterilizer is built according the current Dutch guidelines for sterilization (amongst EN285 / B0115), the Sterlab -demands and all rules for pressure equipment (PED 79/23/EEC). All the pressure-parts are made of at least stainless steel AISI 316L. Air cooled ventilator sterilizer for pharmaceutical purposes An air-cooled ventilator sterilizer is used for those materials which cannot be sterilized in a hot water sterilizer. It is possible to sterilize with just steam or with a steam-air mixture with ventilation. During the post-vacuum (= drying) phase of a steam-air mixture sterilization process the sterilizer is cooled down by filtered air 0,01 micron and a cooled down jacket which gives a very good drying result. The ventilator is powered by a electro-motor with a water-cooled axseal and designed for the best spread of the steam-air mixture during the process. The flow of the mixture goes up through the load and goes down at the jacket of the chamber. If only a steam process is used, the sterilizer acts just like a normal sterilizer for medical devices,. We know that it is not just the sterilizer itself, but the whole work-flow is important, the procedures, responsibilities, production, GMP-norms and the connection to a PC or network for storage of all process-data. Hot water sterilizer for pharmaceutical purposes A hot water sterilizer, or raining sterilizer, is suitable for the sterilization of closed bottles, bags, ampoules en utensils. It is possible to sterilize by a standard steam-sterilization process or by the raining principal. The Dutch Sterilizer hot water sterilizer from PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV is designed for a maximum flexibility, reliability en the best treatment of the products to be sterilized. The processes are according to the wishes of the customer. When sterilizing according to the raining=-principal, a part of the sterilizer is filled with demineralised water (conductivity 15 μs/cm / silicats < 3 ppm. The water is heated by the use of a circulation pump and a heat-exchanger and equally spread over the load. The flow of the medium takes place from high to low. After sterilization the load is cooled down quickly by the heat-exchanger. Combi sterilizer for pharmaceutical purposes Another breakthrough in the range of pharmaceutical sterilizers by PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV is accomplished! Our latest product, the Combi sterilizer, is a combination of three sterilizers in one!! Steam sterilization with deep vacuum (Medical devices), steam/air sterilization by ventilation (air-cooled ventilator sterilizer), sterilization with hot water ( raining - sterilizer) and therefore large savings in money and costs of validation and maintenance. The Dutch Sterilizer Combi autoclave from PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV is mainly designed for hospital pharmacists with small production or special products. The sterilizer is built as a hot water and air-cooled sterilizer in a pass through version with steam heated and water-cooled jacket.. By combining all these aspects from different types of sterilizers, it is possible to sterilize a large range of products, such as: - Glasses filled with liquid - poly-propylene bottles and bags ( 50 ml till 3000 ml) - Ampoules (steam process with a linear descending deep post vacuum). - Eye drops bottles (steam process with special post vacuum, HEPA filtered air-cooling down to prevent boiling of the load). - Utensils (steam process with pre- and post-vacuum). The processes are defined in cooperation with the client and can be reproduced. Technical description Frame The sterilizer is built in a frame of stainless steel profiles, quality AISI 304 (DINnumber 1.4301). The sterilizer can be placed directly on the floor and easily be put in the right horizontal position by using the feet for adjustment. Sterilizer chamber The sterilizer chamber is designed and produced according to the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) 97/23/EG. The design pressure pf the construction is 0 400 kpa (-1 3 bar). The sterilizer chamber, gasket and doors are made of acid proof stainless steel, quality AISI 316 L. The chamber is round shaped and has a heating jacket which almost covers 100%. The inside of chamber and doors are polished ( < Ra0,8 µm). Inside the chamber a stainless steel plate is placed for a good distribution of the steam. The chamber also has a special connection, ¾ BSP outside, for inserting the cables used for the validation. In case another connection is needed, this can be provided in discussion with the client. Between the door and the chamber, a silicon seal is used to exclude the sterilizer. Doors The doors are made of acid-proof stainless steel, AISI 316 L, and are consolidated by a stainless steel construction on the outside. By putting compressed air into a cylinder which is inside the door, the door closes in a vertical direction. The doors are provided with a mechanical safety in the top of the door. The safety starts working if there is any obstruction between the door and the chamber ( personal safety) If the safety is activated, the door opens immediately. The doors on the unloading side ( in case of a pass through version) can only be opened after a correct process. Both doors cannot be opened at the same time. Seal The sealing is achieved by a round shaped silicon gasket, the material of the silicon is according FDA 177.2600, USP Class VI. The seal guarantees an absolute air-tightness of the chamber. By putting compressed ait behind the gasket, it is pushed against the door, the pressure is constantly guarded, in case of a leakage, the process will be stopped and registrated as a failure. Insulation The chamber is insulated on the outside by a special insulation blanket, consisting of rock wool and heat-foil. The doors are also insulated but in this case the insulation is covered by stainless steel. The insulation is complies international standards. The front of the sterilizer has no parts with a higher temperature than 50 C. Panelling The sterilizer fronts are covered by polished (grain 360) stainless steel plates (DIN 1.4301, AISI 304) with a thickness of 1.25 mm. The covering can easily be removed whenever this is necessary. Valves and plumbing All parts in contact with steam are made of stainless steel. All other plumbing is made of red-copper, all other valves are made of brass or bronze. Water and compressed air are controlled by magnetic valves, other valves are guided pneumatically. Meters and instruments - Combined pressure vacuum meter (inside chamber), DIN class 1.6, 0 400 kpa. - Combined pressure vacuum meter (jacket) DIN class 1.6, 0 400 kpa. - Touch-screen display on the loading side and display on the unloading side in case of a pass through version. Vacuum pump and condenser The sterilizer is provided with a vacuum pump of the necessary capacity, the pump is built together with a electric motor. To prevent the pump against overheating, a stainless steel condenser is placed in the plumbing before the pump. This condenser is a stainless steel plate-cooler, type Alfa-Laval, AISI 316 (DIN number 1.4401). This condenser will be connected to ( preferred softened) water. If available, the condenser can also be connected to a cooling water network. The cooling will only take place if necessary, if steam is in the chamber and the vacuum valve is opened, the condenser starts. If the vacuum valve closes for letting in steam again, the condenser also stops. PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV: 2014 13/27

During the drying phase when a pressure of 7 kpa is reached, the valve is closed because there is no more chance for overheating. The vacuum pump is connected to a stainless steel break tank. Heating Heating by house-steam of 350 kpa, steam quality according the European norms (feeding water and condensate EN 285 Appendix B). The steam supply must be secured by a officially approved safety of 3 Bar. Within two meters of the sterilizer a condensation-pot will be installed in the steam piping. According to the EN 285 24.1, the amount of non-condensable gasses must be less than 3,5%. The fluctuation of the pressure must be no more than +/- 10%. Air After the drying phase the pressure inside the chamber will be restored to the environmental value by a valve. By this valve and a sterile filter of, 0,2μm air from the technical department will enter the chamber. After reaching the atmospheric pressure, the compressed air behind the gasket is removed and the door can be opened. Cabinet for the electrical parts All elements like PLC's, metering devices, safeties clambs, wiring and others are placed in a steel cabinet, manufacturer Rittal, model IP55, resistant against a relative humidity of 90%. Twincom control and registration system The sterilizer is provided with the Twincom control- and registration- system. This system consists of two fully independent microprocessors, one takes care of the control of the sterilization processes and the other grades the processes by a measure values control system. In this way an independent registration of the processes is guaranteed. The total control and registration system has been tested for the CE-certifying, including EMC, and is not effected by external influences. In the front of the sterilizer, a 5.7 TFT or 12 TFT colour touch screen is mounted on which all information is shown, for instance, process data, graphics, current temperature, current pressure in the chamber. The use of the touchscreen is easy and gives a clear overview. The touchscreen is also used as a interface to program. At the unloading side (in case of a pass-through model) there is a LCD display which shows several cycle information, for instance cycle phase, chamber temperature & pressure and other information which asks for a action from the user. In case a printer is attached, the process data can be printed on paper. In case a central PC is used, a connection to the sterilizer is possible by using the software package PMT Logboek On this Windows PC at least the following is possible: - Display of processes/status of all attached sterilizer on one screen. - Process graphics and all process data each sterilizer, including sterilizer number, chosen cycle, user, date, time, temperature- and pressure and malfunctions. - Digital registration and storage of all processes during at least 1 year/sterilizer - Historical display and reprint of storage cycles. - Direct connection to a colour printer. - Possibilities for connection with a track and tracing system - Machine is connected by RS232 or Ethernet (LAN) In case of a central PC the track and tracing system is only connected by this PC PMT Partners Medische Techniek BV: 2014 15/27

In Great Brittan and Ireland it is obliged to have an air detector on the sterilizer Is rather simple. Guiding system and construction must be suitable to attach the air detector. Loading methods The choice for a certain model of a sterilizer depends on both the needed capacity and on the other hand of the choice for a logistic system. Underneath there are some possibilities of loading methods for sterilizers. Beside this there are also possibilities for other solutions and combinations like for instance car-in-car-systems With the choice of the method of loading, a pass-through cabinet for the return of the racks is needed. Loading platform Loading rack for baskets Basket system Automatic loading and unloading system Transport trolley / transport trolley height adjustable Pass through cabinet For returning the loading trolleys to the loading side, a pass through cabinet can be installed next to the sterilizers. The cabinet has two doors which cannot be opened at the same time. Transport trolley To move a load to the sterilizer a transport trolley can be used. The trolley is made of stainless steel AISI 304, quality DIN-number 1.4301, The trolley consists of two rails for the load, a lock for the load, a lock for connecting the trolley to the sterilizer and four wheels of which two are movable and with a brake. Transport trolley height adjustable The loading of the sterilizer takes place by using a height adjustable transport trolley. Two buttons for high and low positioning activates the electro-motor. The motor uses a rechargeable battery which can be loaded with a loading device.. The trolley is made of stainless steel AISI 304, quality DIN-number 1.4301, The trolley consists of two rails for the load, a lock for the load, a lock for connecting the trolley to the sterilizer and four wheels of which two are movable and with a brake. The loading height of the trolley is from 600 to 900 mm. Loading platform On top of the transport trolley, a loading platform can be used for the goods to be sterilized The platform is made of stainless steel AISI 316, quality DIN-number 1.4401, The platform is provided with heat-resistant wheels. Loading rack for baskets or platforms For loading the sterilizer a loading rack can be used. The rack is made of stainless steel AISI 316, quality DIN-number 1.4401, The baskets or platforms can be placed in this loading rack. Basket loading system On top of the transport trolley, a basket loading system can be placed. The system is made of stainless steel AISI 316, quality DIN-number 1.4401. The baskets are placed on a platform, lifted up and rolled into the sterilizer. Inside the sterilizer the baskets are placed on a rail and the platform will be returned to the transport trolley. When using this system, there is no need for a pass through cabinet. Chamber rails In combination with the basket loading system and two rails are installed inside the sterilizer. The baskets are placed on these rails the baskets.
