Smallholders On-Line Product: User Guide This user guide is intended to provide you with the basic guidance you need in order to begin using the system. How to Log In To access the system go to: https://ruralinsurance.transactorhosting.com Enter your User Name and Password. (These fields are case sensitive) Press Log In to continue Where you do not have a User name and Password, please click Not registered yet? This link will contain important details on how to contact us to discuss further.
Personal Homepage There are two options 1) Policies and quotations this option will take you through to existing policies and all saved quotes 2) Get a quote - choose this option for all new clients
Option 2 - Get A Quote Proposers Details Before a policy record can be added, basic client information must be recorded and all fields with a * must be completed. Entered the Post Code into the post code field and press Find Address this option will allow you to choose the full address. Where the risk address is different to the correspondence address, at this point enter No to the question and the system will prompt the user to enter the main risk post code and search for the full address.

Risk Details The risk post code will automatically be pre-populated. Enter the number of acres. Press Add Risk Postcode and Acreage
Options 1) Where there are acres at an alternative post code click Add Another Risk Postcode and Acreage and enter details 2) To change the number of acres previously entered, click Edit, amend the acres and press Update. 3) Remove option deletes the postcode and acre fields and allows you to enter correct details. The post code entered must correspond with the Risk address. Press Continue Press Continue
Declarations This is the Statement of fact and all questions must be completed. Any additional activities the client may undertake must be included under Business activities and diversifications.
The question relating to Are any of the Farm Buildings to be Insured heated by fixed or portable devices? if the building is unheated choose the option No- Not Heated Tick the box at the bottom of the screen to confirm all details are correct to the best of the proposer s knowledge. Press Continue
Proposers Cover Choose the sections and cover required. If a cover is not required then select None from the drop down box.
Press Continue
Cover Start Date Enter the inception date and press Get Quote The save and Exit option will save the quote and provide the User with a Quote Reference
Your Quote The system will automatically produce a premium. If any feature of the risks is unacceptable a message will be shown refer to Underwriter Would you like to add: At this point you have the option to add Legal expenses. Selecting the option Yes will update the quote with the Legal expense premium. View Policy Information By selecting this option you will be able to see details of the excesses applicable within the policy. Return to quote option will take you back to the screen Your quote From this screen there are 3 options 1) Save a Quote, this option saves the quote and provides a quote reference number for future use. 2) Change Quote Details, this option takes you back to the screen Proposers Details and allows the user to amend the details 3) Go On Cover, this option takes you to the summary screen providing the user with a summary of cover selected
Choosing the Third option... Go On Cover Acknowledgement The box at the foot of the page must be ticked to acknowledge the information contained within this page. Press Go On Cover to continue
Transaction Details Check the start date is correct and press Go On Cover Payment Completed Your quote will be saved as a policy and a Policy number will be produced.
Option 1: To change a quote
By selecting change a quote the system will take you through to the policy and quotations search screen There are various options to enable the User to search for a previous policy or quote. Only one field needs to be completed and the system will list all policies and quotes that correspond to the search criteria. To select the policy Tick the box under the select option and press Requote
This will take you back to the Proposers details (see page 3) allowing the User to amend the current details in the system
User Administration One user from each brokerage (or branch of that broker) is assigned as the administrator. This will have been notified to you when you first received your user registration confirmation. As an administrator you have several other user privileges such as resetting passwords and adding/removing user accounts to your brokerage. Instructions on how to use these functions are given below: Add Users 1. Log in to the personal home page on the Broker portal. 2. Click on the User Administration button 3. To add a user select the Add button
4. Complete all the details for the new user; display name, email address and password 5. Click Save. User should now show on the user administration screen. The new user will now be able to log in to the system using their email address as their username and the password that has been set for them. Edit User: Including password reset. 1. Select the user that you want to edit
2. Select the Edit button. 3. Amend the details that need to be changed, e.g. amend the password. 4. Click save.
Remove User 1. Select the user that you d like to delete and click on the Remove button. 2. Click Ok on the pop up box confirming that you d like to delete that user. 3. The user should no longer be showing on the User Administration screen.
