INTRODUCTION follow with pleasure With the VISION Naviceivers ESX presents sophisticated infotainment devices with touch screen, which harmonize perfectly with the vehicle s interior design. Enjoy the advantages of stunningly good radio reception, perfect DVD/CD playback and an excellent manufacturing quality in your car. The advanced igo Primo navigation software with TMC and TTS will guide you safely on all roads in Europe (plus Turkey). The state of the art operating comfort of the device is particularly defined by steering wheel control (depending on model) and fast Bluetooth hands free and ipod/iphone connectivity. External media storage devices such as USB sticks or hard drives can be connected easily. All major audio and video formats are supported. The VISION VN Naviceivers can easily and perfectly be integrated into the vehicle, without much effort or additional adapters (refer to page 29). They support besides the new device features almost all functions, which the original radio did before. 2

FUNCTIONAL OVERVIEW The igo Primo navigation software from NNG provides excellent operating comfort and lots of useful additional features that go far beyond the usual functionality of conventional navigation applications. The software was especially designed for ESX devices and impresses with excellent GPS reception and precise route guidance. With the igo TTS Pro feature (text-to-speech) the real street names are included into the voice announcement of the route guidance. The integrated 3D building view is useful in large cities to get an orientation more quickly. On multi-lane roads, the detailed routing with signs helps you to find the desired exit. Additional features such as the POI (over 3 Million) and special destination search, enables to explore the area to find attractions and other interesting places off your route. igo Primo is equipped with detailed maps for Europe (plus Turkey) and can be updated at any time via the internet service portal naviextras.com. After the software activation on the ESX Naviceiver, you have the option to download the latest map material (Latest Map Guarantee) for 30 days.
