3 1. At successful login, you will see a list of your current semester s courses under My Courses. To access your courses, click on the links. 2. You will see the links to Student Video Tutorials to the right of the page. 3. You can click on the Moodle Support button to submit a ticket to our Moodle Support Staff if you need any technical support. 3 P a g e
2. Quickmail allows you to compose an email and send it to your classmates or instructor. 1. When you access a course, you will see the main section of all your course in the middle of the page. In this example, you will see the Welcome to Sample Moodle Course section at the beginning of the course. 2. If you would like to send an email to your classmates or instructor you can use Quickmail. Click on the Compose New Email link to send your email. 4 P a g e

1. Courses are displayed in a weekly or topic format. If you take a look at Resources, you can see that for the week of July 28 th through August 3 rd the instructor has listed three resources: a Power Point file, a link to an article, and a document which is in a PDF format. Click on each link to see the resource. 2. Listed below Resources is Forums. A forum is a platform for students and instructors to exchange ideas by posting comments. The instructor will create a topic for discussion for the class and all students can participate in the discussion by posting their comments. 3. Listed below Forums are Quizzes. Quizzes are assigned by your instructor and usually they are given a time limit for each one. In this example, you can click on Quiz #1 link when you are ready to take the quiz. 6 P a g e

Turnitin assignment is an assignment which will be checked against online publications, text books, databases, journals, periodicals and other sources for plagiarism. In this example, click on Turnitin Assignment #1 when you are ready to submit your Turnitin assignment. 3. Below the Administration Block, click on My profile settings, and Edit profile, then you will be ready to edit your profile, i.e. description of yourself, hobbies, interests and inserting a picture of yourself. 2. 1. Click on the section name on the Cookie Crumb Trail to switch to another section within Moodle. 2 1. When you want to switch to another section in Moodle, you do not have to use the back button, just click on the section name on the Cookie Crumb Trail to switch to another section. For example, if you want to switch from Moodle 2.6 Training Course section to the Miscellaneous section, just click on Miscellaneous which is before the Moodle 2.6 Training Course section on the trail. 2.
