Type Multi-Lane Payment Devices with Integrated PayPass Readers Payment Devices with Integrated PINPAD and Contactless Reader Drive-Through Unattended Devices with PayPass Reader Peripheral Readers Unattended Devices with PayPass Reader/Validator Mobile Payment PDA/Companion with Integrated PayPass Reader Wireless s with Integrated PayPass Reader Description The PayPass reader is integrated into these consumer-facing devices that provide payment capability to store point-of-sale systems. Most common in supermarkets, department stores, chain drug stores and large retailers. They are designed primarily for quick-pay merchants that have drive-through windows. These readers are installed directly into unattended devices such as vending machines, kiosks, and parking meters. Designed as peripheral devices to be attached to existing point-of-sale terminals, electronic cash registers (ECR) or other payment devices. These readers typically are installed at train stations, bus stations, and onboard transit vehicles to validate passenger tickets These hand-held readers are used for retailers/merchants on the move. These payment companions are connected either with a PDA, or mobile phone, iphone, and/or ipod. These terminals are stand alone, battery operated terminals with Bluetooth or GPRS connections.
