The Bet Plan Bot Manual The Bet Plan bot can load selections and place bets on auto pilot. It has been developed specially for TheBetPlan customers. There are two versions available for Betfair and Betdaq. The bot starts checking for tips after 12:00 GMT time. If any tips were added for the day, they will be loaded. All you need to do is enter your Betfair or Betdaq login, bank, stake and press Start to activate betting. Instructions. 1. Run the bot, you will see Login window where you have to enter your Betfair/Betdaq login. Choose Betdaq server if you have a version for Betdaq. You have an option to remember your username and password. Otherwise you will have to enter it each time when you open the bot. It is recommended that you open a new Betfair account dedicated for use with TheBetPlan. You can do this by clicking on the link. Important note: your email registered on Betfair/Betdaq must be the same as one you used to subscribe to TheBetPlan. Otherwise the bot won't be able to load tips, saying that your email is not registered in TheBetPlan. 2. You will see the main window of the bot.
On the main window you can see two tabs: - Today's Tips tab where the tips are displayed. - Betting History tab where you can find all bets from previous days. 3. Enter your Bank and Stake. 15. On the top bar you can see a text showing current state of the bot. For example, it can be: [VIRTUAL] RUNNING TheBetPlan (Betfair). This means that the bot is set to place virtual bets and the betting is started. Another example: [REAL] STOPPED TheBetPlan (Betfair) means that bot is placing real money bets and at the moment betting is stopped.
Key features explained. 1. If you are running Betfair version of the bot, you may need to set your timezone on Betfair website. The timezone must be the same as on your computer. It can be set on Betfair->My Account->My Details page. If your Betfair and computer timezones don't match the bot will not be able to place bets in time. This point is especially important for those who are based outside UK. 2. Your email in betting exchange (Betfair or Betdaq) must be the same as you used to subscribe to TheBetPlan. Otherwise the bot won't be able to load tips saying that you are not registered. 3. The bot uses Ratchet staking plan to calculate bets. This means that stakes are percentage of your bank. Stakes can only increase with the bank, but not decrease. If you lose and your bank is going down, the bot will still use stakes based on your highest bank. If you want to reset stakes, just change either your bank or Stake% to bet. The stake amount is shown in Abs Stake field. 4. Accordingly to TheBetPlan betting rules only one selection per race can be a bet (there can be more than one selection in the tips though). The bot fires the bet only if selection is 1st favourite. Favourite is determined comparing prices from 3 to 1 minute before scheduled race start. If there are two horses with prices close to each other's the bot will choose a horse that was favourite most of the time. 5. Betdaq version can't place bets below minimum bet size. For Betdaq it is 0.5. Therefore even if you set Bank=10 and Stake=1%, the bot will place 0.5 bets. 6. Tips are loaded at 12:00 GMT time (or later). If there were any errors loading tips, they are shown in Messages box. If you open the bot later in day, when certain bets have been already placed, such tips will not be shown in the bot. 7. If you want to reset Today's Profit or Total Profit, double click on it. 8. Virtual betting is provided only for test purposes. It is not guaranteed that all bets will have correct results because in virtual mode the bot takes results from alternative sources rather than from Betfair/Betdaq API. Betdaq version of the bot takes results from inplay prices which is not always correct. It is advised to bet with real money to guarantee results accuracy. 9. All your settings and bets are stored in My Documents -> TheBetPlan folder. Betting exchange username and password are protected with encryption and can't be extracted by other people or programs. 10. If tips show Timed Out error, this can be because you started betting after the scheduled race time. Another reason is that you need to set timezone on Betfair (only for Betfair version).
