DRI S Construction Law Seminar is designed to enhance the practice of all construction industry professionals from experienced defense attorneys, to risk managers, to construction executives and even to those who are new to construction litigation. This year s seminar will focus on the experienced litigator seeking to develop advanced skills for getting a case to resolution. Topics include effective voir dire, jury persuasion, mediation and negotiation. Each will be presented by a well known authority on that subject. There will also be in-depth presentations on evolving strategies for risk transfer and an update on the latest court decisions affecting insurance coverage for construction defects. In addition, the American Institute of Architects (AIA) promulgates contract forms for construction that are widely used. Accreditation has been requested from every state with mandatory continuing legal education (CLE) requirements. Certificates of attendance will be provided to each attendee. She is a seasoned insurance and litigation defense attorney, handling a variety of trial and appellate litigation in both federal and New York state courts.
