GENERAL On-line learning and web-enabled Both students and administrators can access the system via a web-browser Details of in MLP System is compatible with IE8+, Firefox 3 and above, Chrome, Safari, and many mobile browsers. For mobile any ecourses need to be HTML5 or video based MP4 Access/Login Personalized user name and password access to the system. Learners and administrators can access the system from any location. Strong Password Requirements: The password must be a minimum of 14 characters in length. It must contain at least one number. It must contain at least one capital letter and one lower-case letter. It must be different from the eight previously used passwords. It is also recommended that your password include at least one nonalphanumeric character (e.g.!@#$ %). Automated password reminder The system automatically sends an email to the user s system email address when they have forgotten their password. Describe your system s process. Being web based system can be accessed from any location with browser and internet connection. Passwords can be set to any strength level as required by your organization. Permission Settings The system provides the functionality to set security and access permission levels for an individual and/or group. System has Administrator and Custom Role settings. Administrator is intended for FULL site administrators. Custom Roles are set for as many different sub-admin users with ability to set administrator access to very specific features. LMS is cloud based so any videos can be streamed or progressively downloaded based on the course setting; this is provided to the user from the server closest to their location for best user experience. Personalized user views Does the system present personalized user views based on individual settings or group settings? Customizations of views by group, is available for site features and branding as well as site colors and fonts. Full multilingual support The user interfaces can support or be translated into different languages. (Describe your multilingual solution for the user interface.) Available instantly in over 60 languages. Most OTHER systems only translate main site text and user/admin input content for the site and courses, events, branding is displayed in English. Translation can be modified and or customized by language through our translation interface to meet organization specific items. Multiple domains/environments The ability to create and manage multiple branded instances of the user interface. Multiple training types for each curriculum A curriculum or course can contain more than one training type i.e. classroom training, e-learning, SCORM, on-the-job, assessments, checklists, Microsoft documents, surveys, tests, etc. Details of in MLP A curriculum can be assembled in a couple different manners; Bundle; A learning bundle can be assembled and include all leaning item types listed. A Development Plan can be assembled and assign specific due dates for each item with email communication to user is an item is nearing due date and is not completed. Student/Learner Email Notifications Automated email notification when training has been assigned to a user and upcoming training deadlines. Full email communication is available for all types of training items. It is send during registration, and upon nearing the learning item deadline or expiration. Student/Learner Training/Development Plans Ability to create and assign training/development plans, curriculums to individual users and/or groups Student/Learner My Training view Personalized list of all training assigned to the user including, progress, training type, deadlines, transcript of training completed. Student/Learner User enrollment /Self-Service The user can self enroll for training through the system. The visibility of courses available to the individual is based on user settings or pre-set rules. Full development plan creation for courses, events, ebooks, assignable to individuals and groups. Also auto assignable based on the same. My Learning view displays training assigned, development plans, course progress, deadlines, transcript, certificates, and user calendar. Learners can self register for and courses, ebooks or events that have not been restricted for the learners view. Administrator Multiple administrator types Can set different administrator permission levels to restrict access to areas within the system. Actions are traceable / logged. Administrator Disable courses without deleting The administrator can disable (remove from visibility) courses without deleting it from the LMS s content library. External Training As well as managing training for internal users, the system provides the functionality to track, manage and report on training for external users (customers, Suppliers, partners, members, etc). External Training E-Commerce Financial Transactions Describe any e-commerce functionality to enable external users to purchase and enroll for courses, services or products and the ability to process financial transactions (credit/debit card, pay pal, Google checkout etc.) External Training E-Commerce Billing Reports Automatically notify the customer of their purchase via email. In addition, custom role admins are set location access to manage ONLY the users assigned to them. Actions are logged in a change log. Courses and learning items can be archived for data retention. LMS will track and report on any training to any external user. These external users can also have a custom look and feel of the interface with different logos, colors, and system feature/options. External Training E-Commerce Discount Vouchers The ability to set up and apply discount vouchers for groups or individuals i.e. discounts for bulk purchase, preferential customer discounts etc. Discount feature available and apply discounts by customer and or location. LEARNING AND CONTENT MANAGEMENT E-LEARNING, CLASSROOM, ON-THE-JOB, ASSESSMENTS, BLENDED Blended Learning The ability to assign and manage different training types on an individual or group-by-group basis. Details of in MLP Blended learning is provided through development plans or bundle options in LMS. elearning, ebooks, Classroom sessions and virtual sessions can be bundled and offered as a single unit of learning. These bundles and development plans can be assigned by individual user and group and also auto assign upon new user registration based on the criteria of location, group, title etc. Mandatory or optional training The ability to define whether a training type is mandatory or optional Training can be mandatory or optional. This can be set based on the location, group, department, job title. It can also be set to automatically register users for mandatory training. E-learning Content creation functionality The ability to create content and reusable learning objects in the system. Details of in MLP Content can be created from scratch and include any type of documents well as video delivery. Objects are available in repository for reuse. E-learning Import SCORM courses The ability to import SCORM compliant off-the-shelf content. E-learning Support for rich media The ability to import streaming rich-media assets i.e. audio, video, flash assets, animations on a global basis. Document training The ability to import documents and assign as training. Any SCORM course in any SCORM version can be imported into the LMS. There are NO restrictions on importing and delivering any SCORM course from any provider. LMS is cloud based so any videos can be streamed or progressive download to browser from a server closest to the user from the global server network for best user experience. This can be done through not only from the secure file cabinet but also in ebook module. Documents can also be added to any learning bundle and development plan for individuals and groups.

Classroom Management Scheduling The ability to create, manage and schedule classroom based courses, and assign classroom session to individuals or groups. Classroom Management Instructor management The ability to book qualified instructors to classes. Details of in MLP Event module enables the ability to create classroom or virtual events and unlimited sessions for each event based on classroom location. In additions this module allows the uploading of documents for distribution to the learners prior to the event session. Instructor booking and management currently available in system to book tospecific ILT or vilt sessions. Classroom Management Learners/students Calendar Calendar functionality for learners to view all classroom training assigned. Classroom Management Waiting Lists Learners/students are put on a waiting list if the classroom session is full Classroom Management Attendance management The ability to record user attendance, completion and/or pass/fail marks. On-the-Job Training The ability to assign and record experiential, supervisor or on-the-job training. ALL learning is added to learners calendar and alerts the learner for items coming up, due or expiring. Every event session is enabled with a waitlist function that automatically prompts learner be added to waitlist should the session be full. Instructor or admin/custom role has the ability to enter grades, comments and pass fail the learner for the event session. This can be added to any development plan for any user or group. In addition it can be included in the learners transcript.

On-the-Job Training Record Upload/Import User and supervisors will be able to import documents and/or results of the OJT training session into the system, where it will be centrally stored. Assessments The system provides the functionality to create and assign assessments i.e. fill-inthe-gap, multiple choice etc. Assessments Automatic Grading Automatic grading once the assessment had been completed. Certification & Re-Certification Automated certificate generation once a user has completed and/or passed an assessment or training course. Describe the process for how the system manages subsequent re-certification. Synchronous Collaboration / Virtual Classroom What synchronous collaboration / virtual classroom tools exist or can be integrated with the system? Prerequisites and Bundling Courses The ability to assign prerequisites to courses and bundling courses in specific order. Details of in MLP This is done through the legacy, or outside training history upload feature and is added to the user transcript record. Assessments are available to be built and added to bundles, stand alone and development plans. All assessments are auto graded. All learning products when successfully completed have a completion certificate for the learning item in the users transcript. For re-certification the item or bundle can be set for re-take at required intervals. Any web conference tool can be integrated into the LMS. In addition the event/sessions have the ability to also link to a web conference session from the event session in the LMS. Prerequisites can be set for any learning item and set for everyone or by location, group and job title.

REPORTING AND ANALYSIS Progress Reports Reports that show the progress made by an individual or group. Details of in MLP Reports can to be pulled on and individual or group in a course, test, bundle, development plan, and surveys. In addition, each manager and above can customize the course graphical listing on their admin dashboard and this display allows drill down by clicking the graphic. Manager and above can drill down and view performance by location to Job Title and individual user. Default Reports The system comes with a set of default system reports i.e. users that have completed training, users assigned to courses etc. Please provide a list of the type of default reports available in the system. Ready Reports The admin or management person running the report the ability to select, course(s)/region/location/store/job title etc. prior to running the report. Click here to view report list Custom Reports The ability for an administrator to create custom reports, save it for future use and/or Report export Scheduling it into excel or pdf. The ability to automatically schedule updated reports to run periodically; and for these reports to be sent to administrators or managers with visibility permissions. Custom Reports can be built and saved for future retrieval; in addition they can be set to auto run and be emailed to the admin. Specific ready reports can be set for automatic scheduling and email delivery. Others can also be set for this upon request. All custom reports can be set for automatic scheduling and email delivery.

Dashboards The ability to graphically represent information in reports and drill into the dashboard for more information. i.e. users who have not complete training, to be able to drill in and identify those users and their supervisors. Customized Dashboards The user can customize dashboard views and types based on their own permission settings. Report and Dashboard Permissions Only users with the right permission settings may be able to view reports and dashboards relevant to their role or group. Details of in MLP Admin dashboard has the ability for admins and custom role admins to set courses to be displayed in the graphical dashboard in addition each course displayed in the dashboard graphical display allows click on drill down to view form location to users information that the display is representing. User can customize their dashboard by removing and rearranging any of the dashboard objects. In addition the site administrator can disable any user dashboard components site wide or by department and location. Unlimited Custom admin roles can be set with custom permissions to only allow features in the admin area that the user is to have access to. The users are restricted to only performing these actions; ie: reports, announcements, calendar items, user management, etc. for ONLY the users assigned to them.

REGULATORY COMPLIANCE & QUALITY CONTROL Record-Keeping All training records are centrally managed and securely stored with the system. (please indicate how long these training records are kept) Skills requirement search Can quickly identify users with a particular set of skills and qualification requirements for a project or position. Details of in MLP Records are also backed up every 15 minutes and are stored indefinitely. Records are only deleted if users are deleted and or contract is canceled. Option 1 Skills and or skill sets can be mapped to the required learning items in the LMS for the required skills or skill set. Then any manager or above can generate a report that analyses the team members in the locations that the manager or above has access to, This report will list the top team members that have completed the required training and they are listed in order with top performers first. Option 2 Skill sets can also be mapped to Development/curriculum plans and there are 3 reports to report on the compliance of the users/plans to determine the top performers. Course Completion (By Assignment Dev Plan) Overall Report Summary Course Completion (By Assignment Dev Plan) By Department Report Summary Course Completion Detailed (By Assignment Dev Plan) Status Report Summary This report presents an overall summary of Dev Plan courses that have a due date within the date range. This report presents a summary of Dev Plan courses by department that has a due date within the date range. This report presents a summary of Dev Plan courses by each level of hierarchy (3 Levels) that has a due date within the date range. These reports can be opened up to ALL management roles to be able to report on results for their store/department or region of responsibility.

Set competency levels The ability to modify or customize competency types, proficiency scale etc. Supplier Response Details of in MLP This can be set in two ways. And modified at any time. Group competency management The ability to apply competency requirements to a group i.e. a job-role, department, level of responsibility etc. 1. Mapping of competency area to learning items with reporting of top performers. 2. Setting of development plans, competency levels and requirements can be adjusted at any time. In addition, these plans can be set to auto enroll users new to the system at the time they are added to the system. Can be applied by group, location, department, job title and also set for auto enroll based on the requirement (Job title/location/dept) for current users and new users as they join the system through the develop plan feature. There are 3 reports for Development/ to report on the compliance of the users/plans to determine the top performers. Course Completion (By Assignment Dev Plan) Overall Report Summary Course Completion (By Assignment Dev Plan) By Department Report Summary Course Completion Detailed (By Assignment Dev Plan) Status Report Summary This report presents an overall summary of Dev Plan courses that have a due date within the date range. This report presents a summary of Dev Plan courses by department that has a due date within the date range. This report presents a summary of Dev Plan courses by each level of hierarchy (3 Levels) that has a due date within the date range. Assessments and competency linking The ability to link specific test/assessment questions with specific competency requirements. This is dependent upon the type of assessment used. 3 rd party assessments such as Articulate or Lectora it would need to be a function in the course. Assessment is built using the LMS assessment engine, or the prescriptive assessment engine can be tied to competency requirements at the question level.

Audit Trails All records within the system are permanently stored. Records are never deleted. Any changes are within the system are recorded. A full audit trail is available for internal or external audits. Workflows and Rules Workflows and rules can be assigned within the system to ensure prerequisite steps and review processes take place before an individual is allowed to move to the next stage. Records are only deleted if the user is deleted by your organization or if contract is canceled. Backups will still have the data prior to user deletion. Changes to the system by administrators or custom role admins are recorded and stored. Prerequisite capabilities are in the LMS to set the progression of users from learning item to learning item. In addition, skills checklists are available for manager sign off on required skills prior to user being able to progress forward. TECHNICAL SCORM and AICC Compliant What interoperability standards has the system been verified or certified for? E.g. SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC. System responsiveness Should a larger number of users log on the system at any one time, the system should still run without significant detrimental impact of the business. Please list the largest number of installed and/or hosted users your system currently accommodates. Details of in MLP SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 (all versions), AICC. System is running in a cloud environment and the CDN improves performance of content delivery by caching content at locations closest to your users, providing the best performance for course, streaming and progressive download for video, and other content delivery requirements for your enterprise. In addition, additional hardware resources can be added instantly through the cloud azure environment, adding additional servers and processing power to a specific server can be done in minutes. Integration with PeopleSoft or HRIS Training systems The system can be integrated with existing HR or Training systems for automated user set up in the LMS. Largest hosted customers; Papa John s International 80,000 active users 170,000 inactive users, Cisco Systems 80,000+ users, Avaya Communications 30,000+ users. System can be set to sync with any HR or training system as scheduled intervals set by your organization. This allows for two way sync from HR system to LMS and LMS to HR system.

Integration with Quality or document management systems The system can be integrated with existing quality and/or document management system for seamless SOP and/or Quality management training. Single sign on Users will be automatically logged onto the system based on Active directory or other environmental settings. System can also be integrated with any of these systems so long as the document or quality or document management system allows such integration and or sync. Current file cabinet in the system allows for documents to be added and distributed to users based on location and job title. The file cabinet is a secured environment and only allows access to authenticated users in the LMS and only to the documents assigned to them. Full single sign on is available with security levels from basic to SAML2.0. Based on strong digital signatures for authentication and integrity, SAML is a secure single sign-on protocol that the most security conscious enterprises in the world rely on.

Password Reminder The system will automatically send a password reminder if a user has forgotten their login details. Details of in MLP LMS has secret question password recovery system. User sets their questions and answers upon first login and can change them at any time in the users preferences area. System Flexibility Can the system be customized or configured for further requirements. If so, please describe in detail. LMS is one of the few that accommodate client specific customizations. These customizations are set specifically to your site. In addition, customizations that are deemed to be a substantial benefit to the system and community overall, are usually provided at a highly reduced fee or at NO Charge. Account Merge Ability to merge multiple accounts to a single user account Accounts can be merged by any full site administrator

In addition, there are onsite and offsite backups. In the remote possibility of a catastrophic event system wide, the system can be restored and back online in 24-48 hours.
