Fromdistance MDM Setting the standard in device management

GOAL to make mobile devices part of Enterprise Information System MAIN PRODUCT Fromdistance MDM (Mobile Device Manager) Mobile device management means centralized control and handling of the mobile devices fleet, in remote, over the air. Be it a single wireless device or a large fleet of them, any number of devices can be simultaneously operated from a distance without any physical contact with the devices. CUSTOMERS financial sector, public administration, media companies, security PARTNERS over 60 resellers in 20 countries give global reach from global system integrators to focused service providers, VARs and operators Since the beginning, Fromdistance MDM development focus has been on mobile devices. With our unique platform, we offer proven support to all major smartphone device types, as well as PDAs and in-vehicle computers. Our core development guidelines are high usability - the intuitiveness and ease of use - and the art of listening carefully to our partners and customers to keep our product always current. OFFICES Tallinn, Estonia (HQ) Milan, Italy Madrid, Spain Oslo, Norway Helsinki, Finland

Control your devices: With INVENTORY Device base and device settings, applications with version number and status, data consumption, call logs, location (GPS, Network, Cell ID) With ACCESS TO REPORTS (Exported to Excel) Applications, models, memory, firmware, data traffic, bluetooth, network, location GPRS/3G With Fromdistance MDM, it is easy and fast to extend any wireless service to the entire company s smartphone fleet. Voice over IP, VPN, new corporate email system, antivirus - any new infrastructure service can be extended to the wireless users. This brings notable costs savings especially in large companies that have large wireless device fleets. No more USB cables: devices are updated in large numbers in one single shot. Now it is easy to control the validity of international phone bills. Fromdistance MDM enables the monitoring of your company s wireless device traffic consumption day-by-day and by country. BUSINESS MODELS Various business models: Perpetual, Leasing, SaaS and deployment models Behind firewall, Hosted for your convenience

Fromdistance offers Mobile Device Management that is tailor-made and seamlessly integrated with any enterprise IT infrastructure, in order to enable fast and secure deployment of wireless applications. Our self service portal helps avoiding unnecessary helpdesk calls. Using Mobile Device Management, the company support staff can operate the wireless device fleet remotely, without the need for end-user interaction. Enjoy the full inventory of your wireless devices; Manage applications; Install, uninstall, upgrade, stop, launch, monitor, blacklist; Configure application settings with OMA DM/XML templates; Applications and version upgrades can be distributed and installed (or uninstalled) without the need for user interaction; Provision settings; Access points, email, registry operations, network mode, screen customization, SIP settings, roaming partners; File operations and transfers; Create folder, copy files, copy folders, delete, move, install certificates; Ready-made templates for silent deployment and configuration of 3rd party applications, for example F-Secure Mobile Security, Lotus Notes Traveler, Mail for Exchange, Pointsec encryption, Seven push e-mail, VoIP clients, Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, Siemens.

Smart devices can be accessed remotely in order to support end users like never before, by taking total control of the device in remote. The IT support does not need to be physically present when the device is fixed: no time spent in a car, nor the need to use mail or courier service for sending the phone back and forth. Top class tools for end-user support with troubleshooting, health check, VNC - remote device access, fast service recovery in case of a failed device, etc. Complete hosted and operator, or service provider branded MDM instances (SaaS) for providing businesses the opportunity to manage their devices without the need of any physical server installations. Do you need a limited view and access to certain users? No problem, Fromdistance MDM supports an unlimited number of different user profiles. Our customized MDM interfaces Helpdesk Portal and Self Service Portal are based on open source, and flexible to customize further: It is simple to create a tailored user profile based on your needs. Remote detonate/wipe Remote lock/ auto-lock policy Self service portal for easy Enable/disable camera, Bluetooth provisioning of the operator s or Enforce device encryption; turn on/off native encryption service provider s services and Blacklist applications applications. Prevent users from installing their 3rd party applications SIM card change policy Security applications support Backup/restore contacts, calendar, SMS, bookmarks, notes, files, folders Device recovery (cross-device backup/ restore)

Location data (GSM and GPS) can be collected from devices. The location history can be stored into the MDM Server database - also, links to external mapping services are provided.

Remote device access (VNC based) is an essential tool when assisting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting devices. Connections to devices with FromVNC help in understanding problems of end-users along with supporting and training. Devices are accessible with any network connection even over a slower GPRS network. Bi-directional end user approved session replicates all actions on the device, reproduced in real-time on a remote console, which includes full control over all device features. MANAGED DEVICES Android BlackBerry ios Symbian Windows Mobile Windows CE/XP/Vista/7 MANAGEMENT SERVER Windows server Linux/Unix server Apache/IIS web server PHP 5 support MS SQL Server MySQL Server SMS sending gateway (FromSMS may be used)

Web based UI for the Helpdesk/support staff. The support staff needs very little training to fully operate the product. Possibility of making errors is controlled and limited. Non-technical web based UI for the end-user/smb. The end-users perform the basic operations by themselves by selecting the appropriate workflows. Apply workflows defined by admin, like install mobile applications, deploy predefined settings, make a backup and restore, remote wipe/detonate device in case of lost devices. A separate step is no longer needed to install the MDM client on the device. The option is now available as a check-box on the server interface. This not only makes the process easier, but also prevents accidental creation of a nonfunctional script.
