About the modules 1 COMPANIES The Companies database contains information on more than 2.8 million companies throughout Australia, providing you with the depth to understand the business landscape across different regions and sectors. Basic financial information is included, with the ability to include detailed financials. Company information is sourced from ASIC and a number of other data providers. Access to MINT Global for international coverage of more than 150 million entities is also available. The Companies module is flexible and easy to use. You can create searches to find companies that match your criteria - ideal for creating lists of target companies or identifying competitors. Ownership information shows the corporate family tree with shareholders and subsidiary relationships. Director information includes a company s current and previous directors together with linkages to any other related entities. Information can be illustrated diagrammatically in a tree to provide a clear picture of the corporate structure, with domestic and global ultimate owners clearly indicated. The module also compares companies to an automatic peer group which are companies from the same industry with similar principal activities and size, to give a perspective of relative performance. It provides detailed financials, cash flows, risk metrics, segment data, stock data, financial forecasts and brokers current recommendations as well as detailed earnings estimates. 2 CONTACTS The Contacts module provides you with information about the key executives running a business and current directors. Information includes date of birth, address, directorships or positions with job title/function, gender and activity of company, LinkedIn profile, direct phone numbers and email addresses.
