The program combines a solid theoretical grounding with extensive work in specialized translation (legal, technical, business, EU texts) and hands-on training in the technology and tools that you will be expected to use as a professional translator. Our strengths: unique Rigorous training on translating in and out of your native language (English-Greek-English). Extensive practice on a wide range of texts such as technical, business, legal, EU texts and fiction. Hands-on experience in Computer-Assisted Translation, Community Interpreting and Subtitling. Small class size, which ensures that you receive individual attention from your instructors. Attention to terminology and terminography as an integral part of the translation competence. Committed faculty who are teachers, researchers and professional translators. Integrated approach to your professional development, including attention to technical skills, language proficiency, professional ethics and project management skills. They also have solid academic backgrounds with master s and doctoral degrees from renowned institutions in the UK and France. each Faculty members who teach in the program: serve as personal mentors to students throughout their studies; are professional translators in their fields of specialization; carry out research and motivate students to take part in it.
