CPS Career and Technical Education Guide to Student Scheduling & Sequencing

CTE Student Scheduling & Sequencing Completing the required CTE sequence is a critical factor for student success. Not unlike how math and English progress each year to more challenging coursework, CTE follows a progressive three year course sequence. A few minor exceptions are marked. All program codes, course codes and course sequences are documented in this guide. Each program has its own unique page. CTE recommends using its CTE Program of Study Maps in combination with this guide - ensuring a student s entire college and career pathway is properly programmed. ORIENTATION Sophomores TRAINING Juniors ADVANCED TRAINING Seniors Programming students into the proper sequence is required for students to gain the necessary industry expertise
