It managed the platform, redundancy, and security, allowing us to focus on development. We ported our solution and completed the Azure Active Directory Program with support from the Windows Azure team. SITUATION: Ariett s purchase and expense management software required a cloud strategy that would support both customer choice and developer needs, with a single code base for both cloud and on-premises deployment. Another criterion was the ability of a cloud solution to offer Ariett customers synchronization with familiar Microsoft technologies, such as Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Dynamics ERP. SOLUTION: Ariett chose Windows Azure to host its cost-effective, hybrid multitenant app, for which the web portion is shared, but the SQL database is isolated. With Windows Azure Active Directory s single sign-on feature, users can easily and securely access Ariett Cloud and sync with their company s AD. The solution also leverages Windows Azure s reporting services.
