Intimate Female Waxing This course is aimed at those who have achieved or are working towards a Level 2 in Beauty. You will learn how to remove and shape body hair from intimate areas using temporary methods including hot wax, warm wax and sugar paste. Nail Courses The Nail Technology courses will comprise a mixture of theory and practical demonstrations. You should be willing to have nails applied and practise on other students attending the course. A case study assignment will be issued, where you will need to have home clients and take photographs for evidence. Nail Courses City & Guilds Level 2 Nail Technology The course will cover how to prepare and maintain nail enhancements using acrylic. Health and safety as well as basic manicure such as filing and buffing will also be covered. 3 hours per week for 16 weeks Cost: 325.00 per person City & Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Artificial Nail Structures This course is aimed at those who have achieved the City & Guilds Level 2 in Nail Technology or those who have basic artificial nail skills and the manicure unit. Apprenticeships in Hair & Beauty Apprenticeships Apprenticeships Apprenticeships are work based qualifications where you earn while you learn Apprentices can be matched with an employer, or can be an existing employee who would like to gain a qualification You will go through an assessment in Maths and English, some apprenticeships may require you to also go through an ICT assessment The minimum hours per week is 30 The maximum hours a 16-18 year old can work is 40 hours (including time in college) The minimum wage for apprentices is 2.68 per hour.
