provide evidence-based support for the upscaling strategy of the Government of Ethiopia in general and the Agricultural Growth Programme (AGP( in specific; support the government with respect to soil mapping and tailor made fertilizer recommendations. Direct involvement of smallholders in trials on good practices; upscaling of these practices, once validated, by Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources through the Agricultural Growth Programme and other channels project implemented by Wageningen University and Research Centre (WUR).
