Overview Assured from Vysionics is a secure, massively scalable and very resilient next generation storage platform designed to address a wide variety of use-cases. This service was previously known as API accessible cloud storage, Backup to the Cloud, Archive to the Cloud and Personal Storage in the Cloud. In response to feedback from customers and partners, we have simplified our Storage-as-a-Service products by consolidating them into two offerings: 1. based on Object Storage technology which is natively optimised for cloud storage in terms of scale, resilience and accessibility. This service description provides more information on this service. 2. Primary Storage based on traditional Network Attached Storage (NAS) technology which is optimised for intra-cloud performance and flexible asset ownership models. Traditional storage solutions are typically characterised by large CAPEX expenditure, intensive management and support burden and forever swinging between under-capacity and over-capacity. Step 2: Select Network Connectivity In order to consume Storage as a Service, clients will require appropriate accreditations and connectivity. Please refer to section 11, which provides a list of available connectivity options. Data ingestion and extraction For bulk data transfers into the platform, customers should consider the Skyscape Data Transfer service which provides options for offline data ingest and extraction. Prices for this option are listed in the Additional Services section. All pricing exclusive of VAT. Trial service Vysionics offer a 30 day free trial with up to 5TB of storage to every UK Public Sector organisation, available upon request.
