>>> WITH INSTANT ACCESS TO INFORMATION, e-commerce and social media, the Web provides insured consumers greater control over their relationship with agencies, brokerages and carriers. Insurance has become a consumer-centric industry and agencies and brokerages must be responsive to this shift by expanding their service capabilities to meet new and evolving customer demands. With information widely available online, insured consumers are formulating their product preferences well before they engage with an agent, broker or carrier. Insurance businesses need to rethink the ways they are interacting with customers and be capable of providing immediate service through multiple channels, including online self-service and mobile devices. > > > EXPAND MULTICHANNEL SERVICING OPTIONS APPLIED SYSTEMS OFFERS LEADING PRODUCTS for agents and brokers to meet the multichannel customer service expectations of today s insureds. DATA ANALYTICS HAS BECOME A NECESSITY FOR AGENCIES AND BROKERAGES >>> APPLYING DATA ANALYTICS 16 / /

>>> INSURANCE IS AN INHERENTLY DATA-DRIVEN INDUSTRY that produces vast amounts of information. Agencies and brokerages already have deep repositories of data within their management systems with untapped potential to create business insights that lead to better decision making and long-term success. Now, acquiring business intelligence and analytics capabilities is seen as a critical path for agencies and brokerages to remain competitive as direct writers and captive insurers continue to mine data insights about the consumers they serve. The availability of new analytics software applications will enable agencies and brokerages to achieve additional business growth and profitability. > > > INCREASE THE ANALYTICS CAPABILITIES OF INSURANCE BUSINESSES CONTINUING A TRACK RECORD of first-to-market products, Applied Systems introduced analytics software to the independent insurance distribution channel in Q1 2014 with Applied PerformanceManagement, a powerful application that unlocks data within Applied management systems and transforms it into comprehensive business performance insights. As independent insurance agencies and brokerages follow the lead of carriers in adopting analytics as part of their business strategy, we will broaden our product portfolio to provide additional insights that increase the business performance and profitability of agencies and brokerages. // 17
