Speaker & Sub Placement (5pts) o Have the speakers been placed according to CEA/CEDIA CEB22, ITU R BS775 2, or the appropriate recommendations for special applications such as immersive audio? o Have the subwoofers been placed according to CEA/CEDIA CEB22? How much does the space adhere to the ideals of the design and build trades? How well are these principals executed? Uniqueness & Creativity (3pts) How well does this project break the mold of standard design? How well were the requests of the clients interpreted into the end result? In the case of the hidden installation, how well are the hidden elements integrated into the design? Layout & Flow (3pts) Considering the space, how well is it laid out? Is there an appropriate flow for people to move through the room without disturbing others? Are the elements of the room appropriately oriented towards the proscenium? In the case of theaters, are sight lines well considered and are the viewers comfortable? In the case of media rooms, how well are the other purposes of the room integrated? Materials Palette (2pts) How well is the room decorated? Do the fabrics, wood, flooring, draperies and other materials combine well in the overall experience? Furniture (2pts) Does the furniture suit the purpose of the room, both aesthetically and functionally? Will the viewers be comfortable? Does the furniture fit with the design of the room? Lighting (2pts) How well do the lighting designs accommodate the multiple uses of the room, from entry to viewing to reading, gaming and entertaining? How well is the lighting architecturally integrated into the design?

Integrated Home, Personal Craft, Innovative Solution, Integrated Home Under $25,000 Fit & Integration (5pts) How well is the selected equipment selected integrated into the home's decor? Are touchscreens aligned with other wall elements? Do the finishes of the equipment match the decor? Are flat screens appropriately mounted and/or integrated? Do speaker locations match well with lighting layouts and follow the flow of the functional use of the space (meaning, are speakers located to best serve the people using the room)? Experience (5pts) Does the overall system improve the experience of living in this home? Based upon the requests of the clients, has the integrator achieved or exceeded the goals? Will the client's life be improved by the inclusion of this system in their home? Interface Design (5pts) Are the user interfaces (keypads, touchscreens, remote controls, etc.) easy to use and appropriate for the system design?
