Page 2 of 6 Direct Deposit of Pay is Required Tour of Duty: Full Time FLSA: Non-Exempt Bargaining Unit: Yes DUTIES: Performs various contract administration functions, including monitoring canceled funds, performing reconciliation, conducting contract closeouts, maintaining database integrity, determining eligibility, and verifying evidence of contractor progress. Monitors contractor performance for compliance with applicable laws, delivery schedules, payment provisions, contract data reporting requirements, and other contractual requirements. Evaluates contractor compliance with applicable contract clauses, e.g., small business, patent rights, labor laws, and progress reports. Performs final closeout of assigned contracts; e.g., assures delivery, inspection and acceptance of contractual end items and that all administrative and reporting actions have been resolved before recommending final closeout of the contract. Assures deobligation of excess funds, and that special test equipment, tooling, and government-furnished property are accounted for. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify at the GS-09 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-07. Specialized experience is defined as: experience in contract negotiation and using cost and price analysis techniques. To qualify at the GS-11 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as: experience in contract negotiation and using cost and price analysis techniques. Experience using business and industry practices to assess contractor s ability to perform and experience using cost accounting standards to draw conclusions on contract provisions.
