2 Introduction PayItSimple Service PayItSimple is a unique patented solution that allows consumers to pay for purchases in installments, fee and interest free, using their existing credit card. The PayItSimple system provides the ability to convert unsecured debt into a securitized one, by keeping a valid authorization throughout the installment plan. Merchants sign up with PayItSimple using their existing payment gateways. The PayItSimple service works as an intermediate layer between the Merchant s e-commerce websites or POS on one hand and the payment gateway layer on the other hand and the service is initiated directly from the e-commerce website or POS. Page 5
3 Merchant Onboarding Process The Merchant onboarding process includes the steps displayed below. Each step will be thoroughly explained in the following pages: 1 Create a Merchant Account 2 Create a Contact 4 Create a Terminal 5 Define Funding 6 Upload Signed Documents 7 Send the Merchant Account For Approval Page 6
3.1 Create a Merchant Account 3.1.1 Open a New Account Agents can create two types of Merchant Accounts in Salesforce: a Sandbox 1 account and/or Production 2 account, depending on the Merchant s request. Step 1: Go to Accounts Tab Click "New". Once you select the account record type, you need to fill in several information fields, including both mandatory and non-mandatory fields. The mandatory fields are marked in red and must be filled out in order to send the Merchant account for approval. 1 The Sandbox is the testing environment that PayItSimple offers to its merchants to test the integration between the PayItSimple platform and the merchant s e-commerce site. Once the integration is tested, the Merchant will have the opportunity to see many of the features currently available with the service. The Sandbox Environment replicates full functionality of the live system/production environment. 2 The Production Environment is the real-time operational computer environment used to provide merchants customers with personalized installment payments. It is positioned as an intermediate layer between the merchant s environment and the payment gateway environments. Page 7
Step 2: Select Account Record Type "Sandbox" Continue Step 3: Fill in Account fields: Account Name Incorporation Country Company Registered Number/Federal Tax ID Payment Gateway Name Step 4: Click the Save button. Page 8

3.2 Apply for a Sandbox/Testing Account Before creating an account in the production environment, some Merchants might want to first test the service in a Sandbox/Testing environment. Submit the merchant account you have just created to the Sandbox environment by clicking the Sandbox button. As soon as you have submitted the account to the Sandbox environment, your Merchant will receive by email his credentials to the PayItSimple Merchant Admin portal in the sandbox environment (https://merchantadmin-sandbox.payitsimple.com/). The Merchant Admin portal will enable the Merchant to simulate purchases as well as create and track installment plans. In order for the Merchant to make better use of the Sandbox, we suggest you forward the Merchant User Guide. 3.3 Apply for a Production Account If the Merchant has a Sandbox account, you only need to fill out an SCP 3 or non-scp type of funding and create the Terminal for that specific Merchant. If the Merchant does not have a Sandbox account, you need to create an Account (as defined in the previous section) and then define your Merchant s Contacts and Terminal. Merchants can choose to apply for deal funding through cash advance (SCP) or be paid on a monthly basis (non-scp). 3.3.1 Open an SCP / Non-SCP Account Depending if the Merchant is applying for an SCP or non-scp account, please click on the respective buttons. 3 SCP Secondary Credit Provider will enable Merchants to apply for a cash advance in order to receive the money of sold goods/services upfront. These 4 documents are mandatory in order for PayItSimple to approve your merchant s account. Once the Merchant is submitted for approval the record is locked until approved by PayItSimple: To review the approval status: scroll down to the "Approval History" related list on the Merchant page: IMPORTANT NOTE: When PayItSimple approves the Merchant record, the information is synchronized to PayItSimple s system. If you wish to add Terminals after the Merchant was approved, you must send each Terminal for approval separately. Like Merchants, when Terminals are approved the information is synchronized to the PayItSimple s system. Page 16
4 Merchant Approval Process Once you submit a Merchant account for approval in the Production environment, PayItSimple will review the information in the account and ensure all information for opening an account are presented correctly. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please make sure all the documents required are completed and uploaded to SalesForce. Missing data or documents will delay your merchant approval. When approved your Merchant will receive by email his credentials to the PayItSimple Merchant Admin portal in the production environment (https://merchant-admin.payitsimple.com/). The Merchant will then be able to offer and track installment plans of its customers via the portal. In order for the Merchant to make better use of the Merchant Portal we have created the following Merchant User Guide: http://payitsimple.com/docs/payitsimple_merchant_user_guide.pdf. PayItSimple will maintain an SLA of up-to 1 business day, Monday to Friday. If the approval is requested on Friday then the approval will occur on the following business day (Monday). Page 17
