Introduction This document describes both the Salesforce.com application requirements and the necessary setup steps that will allow the Genius data center to access your Salesforce.com account. License Level Genius works with most versions of Salesforce, including the Professional, Enterprise and Unlimited Editions. However, the Salesforce Professional Edition does not include Salesforce API access; therefore, both Genius campaign integration with Salesforce and the Salesforce trigger in Genius Automation Workflows may not function properly. Also, Genius works with Salesforce Production and Developer accounts only, and Genius does not support connectivity to the Salesforce Sandbox environment. Salesforce Profile Permission In order for Genius to automatically synchronize Salesforce data, it requires a connection to a Salesforce user account. To keep it simple, select a Salesforce user with System Administrator profile. If you don t want to assign a System Administrator to a Genius Salesforce administrator role, Genius requires the minimum permissions listed below to access your Salesforce account. Administration Permissions: API Enabled (Note: this may not available for the Professional Edition.) Send Outbound Messages
General User Permissions: Edit Tasks
Standard Object Permissions: Accounts Read Leads Read, Create, Edit Contacts Read, Edit Campaigns Optional - Read, Edit, Create In addition, a Genius user with a Salesforce.com administrator role must have visibility in Salesforce.com to all leads, contacts, and accounts owned by Genius users. In Salesforce.com, this means the following: The user role must be above other Genius users in the organization. There are no Genius users in Salesforce.com public groups for which the user's visibility is restricted. Genius highly recommends that the Genius user with the Salesforce.com administrator role also have the View All Data permission under the Administrative Permissions section, but it is not required.
Optional: Minimum Salesforce Object Permissions If your Genius implementations focus on Salesforce leads primarily, you can limit the visibility of the Account and Contact object to a minimum sets of fields for improved performance. Listed below are the minimum field visibilities to the Account and Contact Object. Salesforce Account Permissions: Account Name Account Owner Created by Last Modified by

To add the Genius.com production network to your Salesforce.com trusted IP ranges, follow the steps below. 1. Log into Salesforce.com using an administrator account. 2. Navigate to Setup -> Administration Setup -> Security Controls -> Network Access. 3. Click the New button. 4. Enter IP address: a. Enter a Start IP Address of 204.44.60.1 b. Enter an End IP Address of 204.44.63.254 5. Click the Save button. Genius operates on a large network environment, hence, the wide ranges of IP address. Genius operations constantly switch servers, networks and load balancers from within to maintain peak performance.
