Co-facilitate a mandatory parenting education program for divorcing parents that is offered on a weekly basis 2014 Invited Guest Lecture in Intimate Relationships and Marriage. Presented current research on strategies and effectiveness of relationship maintenance and the functions and outcomes of relationship education 2011-2014 Research Assistant - Department of Human and Community Development, University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Responsibilities included program maintenance and evaluation of family life education programs, gathering programs and creating literature reviews for current relationship education programs, maintaining the social media outlet of an Extension Family Life program (Parenting 24/7), transcribing interviews and utilizing open and axial coding, collaborated on a formal evaluation of an online co-parenting program using SPSS, IRB approval, recruitment, creating quantitative surveys, and writing research proposals. 2013 Guest Author for Divorcescience.com Authored three articles pertaining to divorce education and children with disabilities, online program use, and relationship education. 2013 Guest Author for CareerSkillet.org Authored an article and infographic on professional development for students in the Family and Consumer Science field. 2012-2013 Senior Program Coordinator for Online Parenting Programs Worked for an online, mandated co-parenting program. Responsibilities during my time there included: Conducting exploratory research on participants experience and positive effects the program had in regards to changes in knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors after completing the program. This study used a qualitative approach with open coding being utilized to analyze the data. Additionally, tasks included: Editing content, creating videos, managing social media outreach, and managing the retention of participants. 2012-2013 Intern at Kevin Elliott Counseling - Mental Health Center in Champaign, Illinois Co-facilitated a support group called The Reasonable Diet, this group pertained to weight loss.
