Study independently or get local tuition In Singapore, you can study with one of our network of recognised teaching institutions that support our undergraduate programmes. Alternative entry routes If you don t meet our entrance requirements, you may still be eligible for our Diplomas in Economics, Law and Social Sciences. These one-year Diplomas give you entry to the second year of related degrees. They can only be studied with support from specific teaching institutions, which set their own entry requirements. Please see page 10 for the list of institutions. Applying for postgraduate programmes You generally need to hold at least a second class honours degree, or equivalent, to be eligible. In Singapore, many Polytechnic qualifications give you automatic credit for first year courses in LSE-directed degrees. If you already have an undergraduate degree, you may be eligible for Graduate Entry for LLB and LSE-directed degrees, which can reduce your study to two years. The knowledge I gained from the LLB has helped me in many ways, especially in interpreting and understanding policies. The analytical skills I picked up help me make sound management decisions.
