Interested architects and engineers are invited to submit one (1) comprehensive Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) by responding to the items below. Responses must be in sufficient detail to provide for a thorough evaluation and assessment. 2. Information presented in the SOQ should conform to the following: a. A letter of introduction and interest. b. The SOQ shall be limited to a maximum of forty (40) single-faced pages of information. c. Information submitted must be arranged in the same order in which it is requested in section B Submittal Components. d. Submittals are to be bound or stapled in upper left-hand corner. e. Font size is not to be less than 10 point. The font is to be Times New Roman An evaluation committee will be formed to review submittals and to place firms on the list for further consideration according to their capabilities and experience. The Committee reviews all submitted material for each firm. References are checked focusing on quality of work, maintenance of schedule and budget control. Once firms are selected to be on the list for further consideration the District will shortlist firms to participate in the solicitation phase for specific projects. Development of the shortlist is based on firm qualifications including: specific requirements of the project, past performance (based off performance evaluations), the firm s capacity to complete jobs of similar size, and the current workload of the firm. f. Note Just because a firm is placed on the list for further consideration does not guarantee that they will be shortlisted to submit or interview for specific projects. g.
