Goals Sub Project 2. Open-BIM based Building Design Standard and IT-Infrastructure 1. Development of BIM Standard Information Framework The project will develop BIM information standard in Korea The standard will be loaded (embedded) in BIM libraries and technical contents to be disseminated to the Architects and Engineers in building industry in Korea. The standardized library and technical contents will enable one single BIM data to be used for multiple purposes (regulation verification for Architectural Administration System, standard drawing sets, design quality checking, energy analysis, structural calculation interface for library creation, QTO, cost estimation, delivery to Public Procurement Service, and so on) 2. Development of BIM Library and Technical Contents The library will be developed for about 3,000 architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical and others. The technical contents will provide the information of material, unit cost, standardized details and others, so that they are connected and used for multiple purposes. 3. Development of BIM Knowledge Information Knowledge to use BIM effectively for the companies which have already adopted BIM software Knowledge to introduce BIM software easily for the companies which have not adopted BIM yet 4. Development of National BIM Policy and System Research on the policy and system for effective BIM adoption at national and industry level Suggestion and reflection of the resulting policy and system to the nation
