Judging Criteria, Rules of Entry & Tips on Entering JUDGING TIPS ON ENTERING THE AWARDS Entries will be judged by independent judges and marked on the following: Closing date for entries is close of business on 6th July 2012. Content (quality and meeting the stated criteria). For your best reference guide on hints, tips and FAQ s visit the Awards website (www.ihbawards.ie) or contact your local sales representative. Any entry that does not adhere to the criteria will be disqualified. Every entry will be seen and marked by each judge. Each entry will be given points, which are added up to reach a final score. Finalists may be visited by a mystery shopper, receive a mystery phone call or alternatively may be called for an interview as part of the final judging procedure. All entrants will be notified by email as to the status of their entry via the email address supplied on your entry form. Finalists will be announced online on the Awards website (www.ihbawards.ie) and on Facebook. All information supplied in your entry, will be kept private and confidential for all catagories. The judges reserve the right not to present an award in any particular Award category should they deem that entries submitted do not meet the standard required. RULES AND REGULATIONS The completed entry form must be signed by the person submitting the entry. Choose carefully the category (-ies) you want to enter. Read and re-read the criteria for your chosen category as most category criteria have changed. Quality is far more important than quantity. Make your entry easy for the judges to read and understand. Provide evidence to back up any statements where requested. When entering more that one category, separate pictures/evidence must be included for each category entered. When providing evidence of advertising/editorial pieces etc. do not send full copies of newspapers/ magazines. Attach scans of relevant cuttings, making sure you identify which publication they appeared in. Re-read all your answers and ensure you have answered the questions accurately. Remember, the judges do not know your salon if you have a successful business prove it with genuine evidence. Closing date for entries is close of business on 6th July 2012. The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. IMPORTANT NOTE Three-time winners of the same category will be entered into the Hall of Fame and cannot enter this category for 1 year. PLEASE REMEMBER!
