VCS INTEGRATION PROCEDURE 1. Log into VCS Admin Login / Virtual Terminal 2. Select Merchant Administration 3. From the Merchant Administration drop down select VCS Interfacing (page1) Set the fields to the following values Website URL http://www.yourdomain.co.za/acatalog/ Referrer URL blank Approved Page URL http://www.yourdomain.co.za/cgi-bin/os000001.pl Declined Page URL http://www.yourdomain.co.za/cgi-bin/os000001.pl Http Method POST Basket User No Basket Email Check No Basket Delivery No Allow P.O. Box No Delivery Fee (Fixed) 0.00 Button Color Leave as set Note The number at the end of the Approved and Declined Page URL s must be the same as the CGI Script ID Number which can be found in Actinic under Web / Network Setup. Example if the Actinic CGI Script ID Number is 1, then the URL would look like http://www.yourdomain.co.za/cgi-bin/os000001.pl. Under normal circumstances the number is 1. On completion click the MODIFY button to save the changes

Then select VCS Interfacing (page 2) Merchant PAM In the merchant PAM field enter a unique reference of your choice of between 6 and 10 alphanumeric characters make sure you record these details accurately as you will require to set them up in Actinic in a following stage. (An example PAM 5Trf43Ka3e) Approved Message Cardholder Receipts Receipts Signature Send Logon Email Leave Blank All Transactions Yes Yes On completion click the MODIFY button to save the changes. You will then require to Log Out of VCS and log back in to make changes effective.
5. Setting up VCS in Actinic In Actinic go to Settings / Business Settings / Payment and Security Select VCS as a new Payment Method, and then click on Configure method Merchant ID Enter your VCS Terminal-ID into the Merchant ID field. Secret Key Create and enter a Secret Key into the Secret Key field this can be up to 50 characters and can contain any characters an example key would be H21bz326741212ed75f43s7 make a note of this key as you will need to contact VCS Support to have the key entered into their system. Merchant PAM Please enter here the Merchant PAM entered into the VCS Merchant Administration settings Click OK to exit 6. Send the Secret Key by email to VCS Next email support@vcs.co.za detailing your VCS ID and the secret Key you wish to use. Please leave the payment Operation as run in test mode until you have uploaded and tested the site.
Upgrading VCS Integration for Actinic V9 and Actinic V10 Users To install, download and run the appropriate version executable file. Please ensure you have taken a Site Snapshot and also make a copy of the Site (Site1) folder for safety. Actinic V9 users download http://www.actinic.co.za/download/v9/pspsetupvcsv9.exe Actinic V10 users download http://www.actinic.co.za/download/v10/pspsetupvcsv10.exe If you have Windows 7 or Vista with UAC enabled, you may need to right-click the file and select Run as administrator.
