Dear Friend: The Apostle John describes in Revelation 14 seeing an angel flying through the sky carrying the eternal word of God to the people on Earth, every nation, tribe, language and people. It is likely John is describing bits, spreading God s Word across the earth to people everywhere. Today GMO reaches more than a million people every day with the eternal word of God from every nation. What John saw in the end days is not a future yet to arrive it is today. Much has been accomplished this year as we move closer and closer to the reality of making the Gospel available to every person on earth; The fulfillment of the Great Commission in our lifetime. There are now more connection devices on the network than people on earth. More have a cell phone than a toothbrush. As the world adopts mobile devices, GMO has created mobile outreach at the speed of technology product life cycles market velocity. Most of our more than one million daily visitors come from this emerging mobile world creating the bring your own device culture. Included in the mobile world are APPs, data in your pocket. This year we introduced APPs for outreach and discipleship. We will continue to expand our library of mobile APP products and languages in 2014. Elsewhere in this report you will see detailed statistics on our total performance in websites, mobile, APPs and social networking. But it does not stop there. We are now preparing in four key areas to maintain market velocity. 1. The development of a highly scaled (CRM) response system to reach up to 3 million people every single day by 2016. 2. We are preparing for Internet based TV. 3. We are preparing for the introduction of wearable computing, which is on the horizon. 4. We will expand into global Bible distribution in multiple versions and languages in text and voice. Our 5-screen development strategy will place us on all devices from a 100 wall mounted video screen in Silicon Valley to a mobile device in a grass hut. For 2,000 years Christianity has lagged in the Middle East and across the entire 10/40 window. There is a greater population across this region than the rest of the earth. Today there are an estimated 1.1 billion people who have never heard the name Jesus. We need to tell them the story of God in relevant terms and seek strong on-the-ground partnerships to get new believers connected. Toward that end we will leverage our growing force of online missionaries located in more than 100 countries, while aggressively expanding other strategic alliance partnerships. We believe reaching America is now of critical importance and demands new and innovative ways to address spiritual issues. Among other ways to present the Gospel, we brought the name of Jesus to Times Square, NYC, appearing every day on the CBS electronic screen on 47th Broadway. For 96 days people who never think about Jesus were brought face-to-face with His Presence, silently but with great power. We look forward to an increasingly strategic and focused outreach in 2014 with new products, new processes and new global partners. Come join us time is running out. THE Ripple Effect Over and over we see the ripple effect in play as people come to our sites, find the Gospel, indicate a decision and then connect with an online missionary. These connections start to ripple out as new believers share their salvation experience with others and bring even more people to Christ. How many times does this multiplication happen? Impossible to count, but the results are impacting millions of lives. 4

Global Media Outreach started in 2004 with a website called, The Passion of Christ. Kingdom Impact Last Year Global Media Outreach started in 2004 with a website called, The Passion of Christ. It was our first step in experimenting with the Internet as a means of sharing the Gospel, and connecting with those who indicate that they pray in faith to receive Jesus Christ. God blessed this outreach mightily and the response was so encouraging, we felt strongly called to go forward. Walt Wilson, GMO s Founder and Silicon Valley technology executive was working on a little project at MIT that would someday become the World Wide Web, when it hit him. This technology may be what God intends to use to get His message out to the whole world. Global Media Outreach began as an Internet ministry for Campus Crusade for Christ International (Cru) in 2004 and spun-off in 2011 to become independent, yet remains a partner ministry with Cru. Ten years after founding, GMO is determined to give every person on Earth an opportunity to hear, see and learn about Jesus by the year 2020. GMO is the leading pioneer in media technology evangelism and discipleship, working with initial partner organizations such as Cru, Wycliffe Bible Translators, American Bible Society, Harvest America, Christian Vision and YouVersion. The ministry is engaged in 195 countries and 26 trade languages. GMO is committed to high growth, cost effectiveness and transparency in our stewardship of funds received. As the world has moved on in the past 10 years, the cost of sharing the Gospel online and through mobile technologies is allowing us to significantly reduce our costs. Initially, it cost 33 cents to share an individual Gospel presentation online. Today it often costs less than 5 cents. 5

THE RIPPLE EFFECT IN ACTION: Liz Lee I was in a very dark place in 2007. I had everything that I could possibly want; a great husband, a wonderful child, a great job, and great friends. However, I was very discontent with life. I wanted to divorce my husband for someone funner as I had only one life to live and he was not meeting my needs. I was always looking for happiness and making checklists of things to make me happy. I Googled happiness and this Global Media Outreach website kept coming up. I said, Christianity...been there, done that, doesn t work... but it kept popping up. So one day, I clicked on it and said the sinner s prayer. I am a sinner and Jesus is my Savior. What did I have to lose? It said, my life would never be the same. The moment that I said the prayer on December 1, 2007, I felt the Holy Spirit descend on me and He changed me from the inside out. I wanted to go to church all the time and read the Bible all the time. I saw my sin and depravity (I thought I was a good person before), I stopped cursing (I used to curse like a sailor and tried to stop, but couldn t), and I just became so sensitive to God. I thought about Him all the time and talked to Him. I looked forward to my 30-day walk with God and read it faithfully. I continued to walk with the Lord and a few years later felt like I was not as close to Him as I wanted to be and looked up the GMO website again. I signed up for the 30-Day Guide on GodLife. I hadn t thought about GMO much more until I was on a missions trip recently and heard a friend talking about GMO. I mentioned that I thought that was the website that had brought me to the Lord and looked it up. Sure enough, it was! She just happened to be friends with a GMO employee in Houston and I got an opportunity to meet him and encourage him. She also told me about ways to serve as an online missionary. Reaching The 10/40 Window As technology impacts more people, a new climate will help advance the Gospel among unreached people in the 10/40 Window, the area located between 10 and 40 degrees north of the Equator one of the highest levels of socioeconomic challenges and least access to the Christian message and Christian resources on the planet. Sixty percent of the world s population lives in this region, which is home to Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism. Yet less than 2 percent of U.S. missions budgets are used to reach people in this area, according to research from Gordon Conwell Seminary. 100M people have indicated decisions for Christ on a GMO website between 2004-2013. GMO IN TOP 10 CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATIONS In 2013, Global Media Outreach was listed by donor advocacy group, ROIministry.org as one of the top 10 most impactful Christian organizations for 2013. At an average of 5 cents per Gospel exposure, 326,353,266 people experienced the Gospel through a GMO website in 2013. In developing the ranking, ROIministry.org reviewed nearly 1,000 causes, producing a list of the 10 most impactful Christian charities. GMO s outstanding ranking is based not only on the dollars raised, but also on its application in furthering the Gospel. God commanded his disciples to go out and make fishers of men. Internet evangelism has revolutionized the way God is transforming lives and working in this world. Nearly 9,000 volunteer Online Missionaries are working to fulfill the Great Commission. GMO celebrates 10 years of reaching people for Jesus.

PARTNER STORY Harvest America Partnering Partnering with Greg Laurie and the Harvest America team, GMO developed a US-focused strategy for integrating online outreach with an on-the-ground movement. Harvest then recruited online missionaries from the Harvest network to respond to seekers coming through websites and to follow-up online with those who indicate a decision at Harvest Crusades and church services. In addition, GMO launched an online outreach program to drive traffic to the Gospel presentation on Harvest.org. 12

Harvest Ministries is partnering with Global Media Outreach, building new bridges to Christ by bringing together evangelism opportunities with online follow-up, fulfilling our commission to preach the Gospel to the world and make disciples of all nations. Pastor and Evangelist Greg Laurie Results GMO partners with 174 churches and 25 organizations in the United States. In 3 months, nearly 400 online missionaries from Harvest ministries, led by Greg Laurie, joined with GMO to connect with seekers online. From just one Harvest Crusade, more than 4,000 contacts were imported into GMO s system for follow-up by online missionaries. In addition to discipleship, GMO trains the online missionaries while Greg Laurie s on-the-ground staff members are connecting new believers with local churches in the United States. GMO is expanding this model around the world to increase on-the-ground connections in-country. 13

Current Discipleship Process Our discipleship process takes a new or recommitting believer through discipleship by offering connection in a variety of ways that include self-learning options and direct connection with an online missionary using multiple communication methods, with the end goal of connection to a local Christian community and the believer sharing their faith with others. Expanding Strategic Partnerships And Regional Focus Areas All of the various discipleship tools used are offered to enable entry level discipleship and help make on-the-ground connections. We intentionally work with partners because on-the-ground connections are not GMO s core competency. Middle East Outreach and On-The-Ground Online Missionaries. Life Agape (Campus Crusade for Christ in North Africa / Middle East) has been our biggest and closest partner for 8 years. While we help them with web strategy development, 60 Life Agape staff and volunteers in 10 countries spend more than 50 percent of their time helping GMO answer thousands of emails from seekers, and connect them with local believers. GMO is also building an alliance of 4 major organizations in Egypt who are providing local, Arabic speaking online missionaries. Our three year partnership with Christian Vision has led to the development of a culturally appropriate evangelism video, which is live on GodLovesRussia.com. Online Missionary recruitment is also growing through Christian Vision, who helped us increase the number of Russian Online Missionaries by 20 percent. Spanish Language Countries Outreach and Expansion of Discipleship Content. GMO and Camino Global (CG), formerly CAM International, have been working together since January 2010. Through Obrero Fiel, their online newsletter for Christian workers, CG has helped recruit hundreds of Spanish speaking Online Missionaries. The Luis Palau Association partnered with GMO in June of 2011. They have recruited hundreds of Spanish speaking Online Missionaries among the students of Instituto Biblico Luis Palau, an online Bible institute. Thanks to these partner ministries, we ve been able to exponentially grow the number of Spanish speaking Online Missionaries in the last 3 years, from 300 to almost 800. A new evangelism video developed by Christian Vision was placed on jesucristo2020.com in early August, and through increased outreach, we have already seen 263,000 more indicated decisions for Christ in 6 months. Christian Vision also provided some additional discipleship materials that were added to GMO s Spanish GodLife site. Brazil Outreach and On-The-Ground Connection. GMO has an alliance of 50 churches in Brazil and the list is growing, headed by the Baptist Convention in Campinas. We have created Portuguese sites for them, and have 252 Online Missionaries on the ground to provide discipleship and connection to local churches. Indonesia Evangelism Outreach and Discipleship Sites. GMO has created evangelism and discipleship sites in the Bahasa language for use in Indonesia, Islam s largest country. Partnerships with pastors and churches are in development with 79 Online Missionaries recruited and another 100 volunteers that are ready to be deployed once directed funding comes in to increase our outreach in Indonesia. India Outreach and On-The-Ground Connections. In 2013, GMO reached more than 65 million people in India with the Gospel and has seen over 5 million indicated decisions for Christ, largely through our partnership with Mission Hearts, an indigenous ministry in India. Mission Hearts has deployed one full-time staff member to travel to churches throughout India, recruiting both English and Hindi speaking Online Missionaries. You Version Bible Distribution. In June, GMO partnered with You Version to help them reach 100 Million downloads of the Bible App. Online missionary responses often include a direct link for new believers to download the Bible app, and we are continuing to expand this partnership. Each month, You Version is adding new languages to their Bible app as part of our combined partnership with Every Tribe Every Nation (ETEN). Increased Bible distribution is a key goal of GMO in 2014. 17
