Questions & Answers from: Project Workforce Analytics: Real Time Visibility into Project and Workforce Performance Q: Is it customizable per project and/or per user? A: Yes. Dashboards and reports can display information limited to specific projects and/or per user/resource group. A User s Task List dashboard may also be configured to inform the project contributor of their assignments along with the expectations and progress. Q: Or do upper level team members set the layout for the rest of the project team? A: Both options are available based on the individual access rights Q: if it is customizable per user, can the settings be made global and customizing disabled per user A: Yes. These options are definable via the security settings. Theresa B. Q: Is there a way to set up thresholds on projects, like costs or time, whereby the relevant people can be notified if the project is at risk? A: Yes. As part of the date based budgeting feature, you have the option to set 5 different levels of thresholds to trigger email to be sent to designated recipients when any threshold is exceeded.

Q: How can external data be included in the dashboard? A: There are several ways external data can be included. Since we leverage industry standard technologies (standard.net dashboards and Web parts, MS Analyzer, MS reporting services, OLAP technology etc) as part of our dashboards, this makes it easy to merge data from different sources and create your own mash ups. Reports and Web pages from external sources can be embedded in dashboard sections or be called up from a simple link on a page. Q: Connectors for Sugar or other open source crms? A: We have not integrated with Sugar CRM. However, integration is a lot easier these days since Tenrox provides standard Web Services interfaces and data views. In most cases, we include integration in our turnkey projects once we understand what you need. We have integrated with hundreds of systems, so integration is a known and well understand process for Tenrox. Jackie D. As a matter of fact Tenrox Support also leverages the native workflow technology to manage customer support issues. It is fully embedded in a private client area from our corporate website where customers can log issues and keep abreast of the progress/escalations of their issues from the user portal and emails. Several customers are also using the flexibility of the workflow to track their support issues and have defined a variety of escalation rules based on certain conditions. We put you in touch with a customer who is using this feature once we better understand what you are looking for.
Marie D. Q: How does this application fit in with customer support ticketing software? A: Although Tenrox is not intended to be a full ledge ticketing software, the workflow technology provides a great amount of flexibility in it configurations so that it can meet the basic needs for customer support. Essentially, if you are looking for one solution to meet both your project time tracking and issue tracking needs then Tenrox is definitely an excellent option to consider. We can discuss this further with you in a one on one conversation. Scott C. Q: Does your time entry support a daily time card that is filled out for several people by one person such as a supervisor without going to each individual employee. The daily sheet would download back to the individual cards. A: This concept is not available out of the box but can be accommodated via customization. It may have already been done for a few customers. We can discuss this further in a one on one conversation and provide you with a more complete answer.
