Program Assessment Goal: To determine compliance with the standards defined in the Illinois Protocol for Partner Abuse for Partner Abuse Intervention Programs

IDHS Protocol Primary Purposes: Victim Safety and Perpetrator Accountability

The Illinois Protocol for Partner Abuse Intervention Programs Developed by the Male Responsibility/Abuser Services Committee of the IDHS Domestic Violence Advisory Council 1990 Protocol Section I Male Perpetrators of Women Abuse 1994, Revised 2000, 2002 1 st Applications to IDHS for Compliance recognition 1995 The Illinois Department of Human Services Administrative Code for the Office of Community Health and Prevention, Title 89, Part 501 Partner Abuse Intervention - Adopted April 2001

Admin Rule Administrative Rule requires IDHS to approve, fund, and monitor Partner Abuse Intervention Programs, and provide Protocol required training in abuser services.
