FAMCP 1. Established in 2004 with the aim to make Europe closer to our territory by: 2. Supporting the municipalities in the submission and participation in EU call for proposals and projects. 3. Disseminating EU policies to be implemented at the local level(open DAYS) 4. Training the technical staff and the decision makers in the funding opportunities to promote the quality of life of the citizens, specially in rural areas
EU Department 5. Adapting the EU approach to the real circumstances and problems in the local level. 6. Networking: Coordination of municipalities with common interests all over europe. 7. Dissemination of specific newsletters about subjects related to the EU. (Closer collaboration with the Regional Government DG External Affaires and Europe Direct) 8. Management and implementation of the activities Colaboration wilt all departments in FAMCP (training, legal advice, communcation and the specific committees of local authorities in FAMCP(environment, small municipalities, counties, financing and public servicies)

NAME PROGRAMME OBJECTIVES YEARS Zero Waste Pro INTERREG MED Capitalization Promotion of all results and outputs of the partners' MED and other EU funded projects that are related to the sustainable solid waste management practices of prevention, reuse, recycling and composting. The communication strategy of the project will disseminate the results and increase the application of the tools produced to more countries, more regions and municipalities.
