When two power boats approach each other at an angle, the right of way goes to the boat on the right and ahead of the other. Pass port to port. Vessel being overtaken has right of way over overtaking vessel. Sailboats on a starboard tack (wind coming from the right) have right of way over sailboats on port tack.
