Also considered should be the quality of on court programs, management structure, interaction with Parks and Recreation Departments, and involvement with the tennis community. CRITERIA: This award is given to a junior player who has overcome a physical impairment or injury but continues to compete to the best of his/her ability. Character and sportsmanship must also be exhibited. SELECTION PROCESS: The USTA Florida Community Tennis Council selects the recipient, along with input from the Recreational Tennis Council and the Junior Competitive Council.
