NYSSA s mission is to promote best practices and the highest professional and ethical standards in the industry. A not-for-profit industry organization, NYSSA provides education and a venue for policymakers and practitioners to discuss the major issues that drive our industry and economy. With 10,000 members, NYSSA is the largest of the 135 societies of CFA Institute, which has more than 105,000 members globally.

The Exam The Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world. Because of that, the path to achieving it is challenging: three grueling exams with pass rates traditionally under 50%. Turn to NYSSA s expert instructors to guide you. All CFA charterholders, they ve been through it themselves and can help you pass the exam the first time. You ll need to put in the study hours at least 10 hours a week for six months. NYSSA classes help you focus on what it takes to get a passing grade. The NYSSA Advantage NYSSA is the only New York area exam prep provider With 30 years of experience helping candidates like yourself pass the exam Aligned with CFA Institute as a local member society Where every NYSSA instructor for a review class is a CFA charterholder who imparts study tips and strategies Providing you with access to instructors after class hours With instructors who teach the concepts behind the content you re not just reading material, you re learning it Offering free study groups that provide motivation and business connections CFA Institute does not endorse, promote, review, or warrant the accuracy or quality of the products or services offered by NYSSA. What s your study style? Percolator: Studies over a period of time and lets the material sink in. Needs time between study sessions to process information. Memorizes and drills while walking, jogging or exercising. Go for the Weekly Review Weekend Crammer: Too much going on Monday Friday. The only days left are Saturday or Sunday and you re willing to put in the hours then. Go for the 6-Week Condensed Review Laser Beam: Time is running out before the exam and you need focus, focus, focus. You want your learning in concentrated doses. Go for the Schweser 3-Day Intensive Review Crunch Time: Waits until the final minutes of the game and then pours it on. May do self-study up to a point, but then want to solidify your knowledge in a classroom setting, right before the big exam. Go for the 5-day Bootcamp Need to get up to speed? Go for Financial Statement Analysis Study Strategy To help you focus your own studying and reading, consider starting with our weeknight live classroom review, then, closer to the exam date, supplement that with our Saturday Condensed Review, 5-Day Bootcamp or 3-Day Intensive Review. You may also want to join one of NYSSA s free study groups. Remember, you can get discounts on Kaplan Schweser study materials when you attend our classes. 3
